Well, it's the same in WoW etc. You start with the high end raid gear and the first green that drops already outclasses everything. Tho it's a bit less noticable here, as long as you don't get hit, I guess.

Tho my weapon sure starts to feel weaker and weaker and I am just hitting 33 Smile Oh and I got a shotgun for level 40, that does almost 500k...

I've got a M4 rifle, not single shot sniper I think that's 104k...seems to take two shots to take out anyone so far...but it feels overly powerful. I'm wondering if it gets harder as you level up. I'm only 32 now.

@BettyShikle that only applies if you buy the base game with expansion now. If you have the base game already, all languages stay the same.

You know if it is possible to apply the 20% coupon?

You can apply the 20% coupon on the uk store so I don't see any reason you won't be able to apply it on the russian one.

BTW do you still have to go through 5 world tiers once you reach level 40 like you had to pre-patch ?

Doesn't work in the US. Says it didn't work on pre-orders or games that haven't been out for at least three months.

Well that was £20 well wasted. Can't tell if the game is really boring or it's just me growing bored of video games all together. Can't seem to enjoy anything these days.

meh...

was okay-ish before (the 3$ were well spent) but due to the skillsystem/lootsystem change, the game got a lot harder to manage and in the end, you are just doing the same things over and over. run, loot, hide, shoot

Unlike in any other looter/hack'n'slash ^^

If you don't like that loop, this game obviously isn't for you Smile

I am level 40 now (items still say 40, not 500) and am about to go after Keener. His 4 Lieutenants are down.

And again, once thing The Division always did a great job with, is the insane amount of detail and atmosphere.

You can almost smell the city through the screen, lol.

Found an exotic SMG (The Lady), not sure if it's a random world drop or a fixed one in the mission I was in...

So far, I am liking the loot 2.0, it makes it a lot easier to compare items on the go and switch out as needed, especially since most items follow a certain "trend", i.e. blue, red, yellow.

Streamed it all and can't wait to see what kind of twist comes after the "supposed" end of Keener (Black Tusk? Something else?). No idea what or if there is anything, has kept me on an embargo for it, lol.

Anyway, if you liked TD2 and even just for the story and SP part, then this is an expansion worth buying.

If you don't like TD2, then this expansion won't magically make you like it...

i'm liking it. lvl 33 now and Parnell is down. But the hunting for the SHD caches as puzzles are annoying.

I haven't really figured out the reclamation station and how it all works. I mean I get the gist of it but when I applied additional % of damage to a gun it didn't increase the number.

Also, I do like the loot info except I'm afraid to remove my current gear with mods because I can't tell easily if a new piece of gear has a mod slot.

WoNY NY and missions are very well designed, had a lot of fun so far and the DLC soundtrack just blows away TD2's original soundtrack. One thing that amazed me is that when background music goes completely silent, you can hear the metals bending from the distance on ruined buildings, like they're about to fall. Ubi/Massive can fuck things up ocasionally, but these guys know how to nail some stuff (sometimes) Very Happy

Is it me or the enemies are way more spongy now? I'm still lvl36 so far, and I'm getting my arse buttfucked several times on story mode, with somewhat *decent* gear.

I agree, SHD caches are a pain, spent 1h yesterday figuring out and trying to get the one inside a building on an alley at civic center Laughing

I've stopped playing since Episode 1 released, or before that, and something idiotic that I've thought it was already fixed was the gear mods not being removed when destroying gear, so you have to remove all mods manually otherwise it's scrapped along with the gear piece. Seriously wtf

It´s not that i didn´t like it,just wanted to boil it down for AnarchoS.

Don´t tell me you didn´t get facerolled the first time you logged in after the patch mate,i had a (perhaps wonky) setup that worked very well for me and made things way too easy during the whole game. I died exactly 2 times before the patch and both times it was because my freaking cat jumped around in front of my monitor during somewhat challenging Bountys, there was zero need for Med/Armor Kits

After the patch,it felt like i was shooting BB´s at people with bodyarmor and they´ve hit with the force of .308 and all the gimmiks and mods that made those skill things so overpowered were gone. Granted, this made looting a lot more interesting since you finally got the urgent need to replace your toys but the change after ~25lvls was harsh.

Its not a bad game for what it is but for me,the changes were questionable but since i had/have no idea about endgame and loot economy there,i can not judge about the positive aspects of said change,eh

Edit: what are you guys doing with those caches,i´m lvl~28 now and i only really "need" them to advance with the Projects. I stopped buying Perks a few lvls ago since the rest is locked until lvl30

Absolutely worth the 15odd€ I paid for, yes.

BTW, NYC doesn't replace Washington, both zones are your level with stuff for your level and max gear, etc.

Just as an FYI for those who thought NYC was small/big/whatever... a)it's big enough b) you still do your normal stuff in Washington (+whatever new storyline will pop up soon enough, after the "end of Keener", which Imho will add new main missions and new outside areas to the game.

+12 week season with ladder and activities every week etc.

Yeah, they added a shitload of stuff, hence "Expansion" and not "shitLC".

Oh and yeah, hunting SHD is a pain, BUT on the other hand, they really make you work for it, which I think isn't the worst. I mean, you can still use a guide, but if you really want to explore, well, there is a good reason for it now Smile

On the same alley, there's a orange supply crate hanging on the top of the building where the SHD cache is.
Look for one of those ropes that you attach to your body to go up/down somewhere on the same alley (I can't remember where it is exactly, but shouldn't be hard to spot), and shoot to release it so you can go up.
After that you can go and work your way up until you reach the orange supply crate (there's an armor crate there too, kinda hidden), and then you will see some wires near a door.
Equip a sniper rifle and follow those wires on the building across the one you are and there's a control panel to shoot, I think it's only one (similar to what you do to open "secret" doors) and voila, the door to the SHD cache is open (it wont automatically open though, you have to approach the door and manually open it) Very Happy

The one on the sewer was kinda tricky, I don't know if it was luck or some scripted encounter.
I was roaming on the sewer for the 2nd time, 3 enemies spawned and I killed them, and after a full sweep on the sewer, a boss spawned near the cache's locked door (I think it was the heavy guy with an axe), I've killed him and he dropped a key which opened the locked door.
I guess you can do the same thing as I did, do a full sweep on the area and if the boss doesn't spawn, either fast travel somewhere and go to the sewers again, or roam around and wait a few minutes (I remember that he spawned very close to the locked door)

Edit: Shit, thought you didn't find it once again lol Laughing. I usually try to find these things on my own, except the hunter riddles

Anyway, for each project that asks for shd caches, you get some upgrade to the Haven settlement.

Well, there's some loot caches (big orange crates) on each of the safehouses on NY, which you can open for 5 SHD points if I remember correctly. Dunno if it'll give better loot, but I'm waiting for lvl40 to open them anyway
