I'm already D/L CODMW 10GB update and I just finished the Division 2 40GB update and now the Halo Combat Evolved Update of 6.5GB....hard to play when your internet is bogged down with updates!!!
Installed Halo CE and it's much better than that shoddy port from 2003. For being a 17 year old game this enhanced version looks better, plays better and is generally a good game even today. I didn't like Halo: Reach at all but this is a classic that is still worth playing (campaign, I'm not the slightest interested in Halo multiplayer).
As for being primitive, well it's 17 years old and 2003 was a pretty good year all around:
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - 94/100
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic- 93/100
Call of Duty - 91.52%
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - 91/100
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne - 88/100
Rise of Nations - 89/100 89.17%
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - 88.59%
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne - 86/100
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight - 88/100
I recently replayed KotOR (with mods) and it's as good as ever even though the polygon count is a fraction of modern games. I did play Max Payne 2 a few years ago and it looked good as well. Vice City on the other hand hasn't aged that well (if you can even get it running). The bugs back in the day are probably still in there (driving through the road/clipping etc.) and to keep it's open world running smooth both on Xbox and the PC port they dropped the polygon count quite a lot. A proper remake with GTA 5+ quality would be nice.

I was soo anticipating Halo back in the day, and then when I finally got the chance to play it, I was so disapointed, all the copy paste levels/level parts in the game.
Just played some Halo 1. Jesus christ I don't remember it being THAT primitive.
Halo was always shit. People were just too blinded by the graphics and the swanky vehicle to notice. Now the vehicle is old hat and the graphics have aged and suddenly they realize it's just a bog standard boring gallery shooter with shitty weapons.
Halo is one of those games I tried to like (after all the praise, I thought I was missing something) but ended up hating instead. Of all the FPS games I played, it has hands down the worst weapons. They all feel inaccurate, spongy, unsatisfying to use and the enemies are pretty annoying to hit with its "revolutionary" AI to boot. I'd rather play Duke Nukem Forever a dozen times than touch this crap.
Halo 2 Anniversary seems to be coming out "tomorrow".
Nice. We decided to play all halo games in coop since we never did.
Finished Halo 1 in one sitting two days ago on 360 split screen.
The game is fucking terrible. Seriously it's garbage. Repeating corridors over and over and over. And repeating bridges and then repeating "library" and back again. It's so bad.
Pc versions don't have local coop but it's possible to play in vr in bigscreen app just sitting next to each other with screens and connected on-line ingame.
I've tested it. It's super stupid and it works great

Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
Okay, apparently not tomorrow, it drops on the 12th.

@K: Not having issues with it so far, even with DOOM ETERNAL, the last game that requires a good PC.
People says there's a BN but still it's a great CPU for what i use, telling me "Wait for Desktop RYZEN 4000 CPUs" and that's what i'm doing.. Because you can jump to RYZEN 3700x and gain minimal on games and dunno, 60-70%? of other stuff, but still, since they've mentioned the 4k series welp, time to wait, but i'm not having any kind of hurries
And i'll be waiting for the crack, thanks
PS: For whatever off-topic, PM me better.. Let's keep this clean

What in the actual fuck?....No matter wich language i put in the game (Spain's spanish, english) in both audio and text options, HALO 2 ANN has NO VOICE SUBS....Trust me, i've tried with both english options and nothing!
But in the previous games they were avaliable!..What have they smoked?!
Fun fact is that the cinematics HAVE spanish subs...
PS: I AM AWARE that Latin's not included in the MCC, but FFS !!!
EDIT: It's a known issue... What were they thinking?
EDIT: Is it me or HALO 2 ANN is giving out a shit ton of screen freezings whenever it wants?
