No, i thought this title was to really showcase the new index controllers so I'm holding off til i get them (might be a veeeery long time looking at what it would cost to get an index here). I figured Valve with this game would definitely do a really good job of any input as this is technically the game Vive should have launched with if they had of had time.

I've probably been playing an hour and a half a day, VR still fucks with my head even with hundreds of hours of use (although its a been a while). Looking at my monitor, its a weird feeling, like my brain has seen this before, is this 2d or 3d?

There is no "non vr mod" right now, glitchy or not. Running console commands that come with the game is not modding. Am I a modder every time I type noclip in the console?
And to be clear I said "no" to Valve releasing it for pancake. That won't happen.

This game in 2D is physically impossible. There would be no way to manipulate the environment in the way the game requires. Sure you could roam the maps in 2D, that would probably be trivial, but to actually play with the gravity gloves? Not going to happen.

Modders can rebuild the game, repopulate the maps with enemies, etc. But it will require a lot of work. They basically have to remake the game in the editor.

I really doubt its truly "outselling" DOOM eternal .
If it was non VR game probably, but Doom eternal is also selling on Bethesda store and on more platforms and you don't have to buy expensive VR to properly play it..
Its probably does boost VRs sales. But especially with the outbreak going it just won't sell as good.

Edit: This might be a dumb question but does the cracked run through SteamVR? If so, does it just add to your profile and shit? If so, what prevents Valve from detecting your running a pirated software?

It adds to SteamVR playtime, but I doubt Valve cares.
People are working right now, you will see it go up in the evening like it happens every single day.
Also, more people will play in the weekend.
