I have been using my ps4 alot motr last year or so since my pc stopped working.
Everytime now due to thr size of the games i always run out of space and have like 5 games max at any one time on my ps4.
I have the 500 gig ps4 version.
Just wondering if i can use an old pc hdd i have that is 500 gigs in size?
Save me buying a ps4 external hdd?
If so is there any vids on how to do it?

Thanks.

yeah you can use a sata adapter to use any hdd as an extra external. Might want some kind of case for it. Nothing special required.

I use something like this
https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-SATA-USB-Cable-USB3S2SAT3CB/dp/B00HJZJI84/

Personally, I added a 480gb SSD as external storage where I keep my most played games that benefit from an SSD. cuts some load times in half or more, but you can just use that old HDD if all you want is some cheap extra space.

you just connect it via usb, then set it up as external storage in the options. done.
