I love the dodge, much prefer it to the defense items. One of my complaints while playing RE2make was that the vocabulary of actions was severely limited and this aspect did not feel modern at all, because in that game all you can do is shoot. You cannot hide, block, crouch, jump, melee, or do pretty much anything but shoot (ok, you can run too).
The dodge helps greatly with making the character not feel like a gun, but an actual human.

100% everything after 22 hours. (steam playtime) for re2 it took me 53 hours total.
also fuck nemesis stage 3 on nightmare/inferno. i had to do it like 60 times on nightmare to beat him. atleast im a dodge master now, so on inferno i dodged everything and did stage 3 on the third try.

Shipped 2 million copies in 1 week. 50% of that were digital sales, so at least 1 million copies have been bought by players, the rest have been shipped to stores, but might have not been cleared out yet (and it might take some time due to Covid19 as stores are closed in several countries).
In comparison to RE2make, that game shipped 3 million copies in its first week.
Of course that game was developed and marketed as a bigger game, it was better received, and there was no Covid19. I believe Capcom will be happy with RE3make if it keeps selling like it already is, because they consciously spent less on it, so they know they can expect fewer sales.
