ending was whatever, made all the middle episodes not important and filler, could have been cut and made a movie. the wife was still the worst part of this and still didnt understand what made her so special, and why did she need to appear almost naked when she looks like a little boy
So a random employee could enter that elevator code?
The ending was very atmospheric, the visuals, the music, as usual.
Very weird the complete fascination of the script with the character, and the love triangle, who cares??
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
This show and reddits' comments about it are the most pseudo intellectual shit I've ever seen. So full of itself.
Still.
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm
An interesting concept, with fascinating sparks and very unique vibes, but neither the acting nor the writing itself really managed to live up to the promises
The main problem for me is that everything(tm) felt rather distant and inconsequential, aggravated by the poor pacing and the little attachment that I developed for many of the characters. Mizuno's physical apathy mixed with you're tearing me apart moments, her insipid cuckfriend, the Lyndon uber-smart kid (on a side note: I just discovered it was played by a 22-year-old woman *mindblown*) and the fairly bland dialogues overall didn't quite help. Was it a waste of time? Yes and no. But mostly yes, sadly.

Does the show have any music similar to this track from Ex Machina?
Not quite, the tone is more celestial so to speak, with some vintage/pop songs in between as well. Nothing too remarkable in my opinion
Man the VFX looks so cheap in this one, also god daymn this show does not have single scene with straight lines in picture, looks like they have filmed it with low quality shit wide lenses without any corrections applied in post.

The visuals reflected the whole plot device, imo.
Just finished it. Good show.
Spoiler:
The most intense scene, for me, was the "one moment into the future" scene, where you could really feel how they felt trapped. I think if it had been me, I'd turn completely mad. And I still wonder how Lily cannot feel mad at the end instead of going to find Jamie. That was the most improbable ending to me. Forest of course, was mad from the beginning.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
