The veil between life and death is no more. Discover what lies beyond the world you know in the next chapter of the World of Warcraft saga--Shadowlands: Coming 2020.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
the add-on will introduce significant changes to the character progression system, starting with a reduction from the currently available level 120 to 50, with a new limit of 60 set by Shadowlands
the pre orders for this expansion will bomb hard, the preorder bonusses are pretty much non existant, while in legion and bfa u got to play some allied races and questlines 6 months before release, this one offers noone of the sort, just some shitty dks everyone already has nor wants to even play
wanting money now and not having ingame content , will cost them dearly
i dont even think ill play the prepatch which i usually never miss, item level squishes where alwaysmiserable, dont even wanna know what a real level squish will do
They didn't bomb though: people went crazy for the pet, mount, HS and transmog. Plenty of knobs showing it off in the main cities.
+ shitty DK's are for some as much a selling point as allied races where.
Don't underestimate the stupidity that are pre-orders.
That being said: I need more, I need to see it. Blizz aren't really reliable with what they say these days. So like hell I buy the expansion now.
It's lockdown related. Lot more people playing, its usually the ones that took a break/let their subscription run. And now it has even more effect since you have Classic as well.
What also helps: the 100% XP buff that was running this month, the 100% Reputation buff next month. And people rolling the dice to get into Shadowlands Beta.
Edit: and the 100% experience buff is here to stay!

There are many journeys to be taken in Azeroth, and if you’re in the middle of one, or just looking forward to starting a new one, we’ve heard your plea for a little more time. Due to the popularity of the Winds of Wisdom 100% experience buff in Battle for Azeroth, we’re extending its benefit through to the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch!
All players in Battle for Azeroth will gain an experience buff called “Winds of Wisdom” which will increase experience gains by 100%! (Bonus includes Starter Edition and Legion players.)
Players will also be able to take advantage of this experience boost while still using their favorite heirlooms.
Makes sense, seeing that Shadowlands levelling is on the same kind of pace as this buff.
Eh, mage tower was imbalanced, spec and class wise. Some specs it was easy, others struggled until you overgeared it.
Horrific visions is decent the first few tries (still too much speed run focused for my taste) and then it just becomes some annoying thing because lousy and tedious affixes that is on a weekly rotation. Doesn't help that quite a few people skip the Stormwind version (or 'push' less) because its more tedious than Orgrimmar. Solo'able being dependable on your spec and class.
