"crack fix" is out on rins, I applied it and I am not getting any black screen etc...
I don't think it's anything new from CODEX, just people managed to modify the crack that it won't make a problem with the date, don't think it's compatible with any new update etc...

You can run the game without it now. Started working again on the 11th.
Finished it.
Gameplay was ok. The on-rails uncharted style platforming does nothing for me. combat feels like a clunkier sekiro to me and the force powers and skill tree are not that interesting.
Story and characters were pretty good though, I enjoyed it overall. Latter half of the game I stopped caring about the optional stuff and just went for the finish line, but I liked the finale.
not great but would buy it under 20 euros or so. looking forward to the sequel. I'll give that a try for sure.
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
And, unfortunately, it appears many PC players worming their way into console matches are doing so with particularly malicious intend. "They are also cheating," wrote Resetera user Spider-Man in the same thread, "They could see HP, loadouts of players, had chat and voice and more. It's a bigger disaster than just better players. It's also the massive cheating."
Sure... cheating, yes

There’s no better day than May 4th to pick up your lightsaber and swing back into battle. This free update brings a host of new challenges for Cal and BD-1 to take on. A new Meditation Training feature allows you to test yourself against waves of powerful enemies in arenas across the galaxy. Craft your own to take on your most hated foes and alongside your favorite allies. Unlock new customization awards and embrace your dark side with the Cal Inquisitor outfit. Experience Cal’s epic journey anew in New Journey +, this time with all the cosmetics you’ve discovered unlocked. Step up to the challenge and May the Fourth be with you.
Decided to pick it up for 40% off, and yeah, it's not a great lightsaber game, but now that I'm further in, it's a decent Souls-light platformer. And it's quite a looker to boot.
Spoiler:
The control scheme is still a huge issue, deviating from Souls-like traditions made it quite tedious to get used to.
To play it's meh. For the screenshots it was worth it for me, but would not recommend to anyone who isn't a photo mode junkie like me.
Today, Electronic Arts announced that on November 10, this year, EA Play (now available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4) will be offer Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order.
Tried several times to like this and failed. Glad some of you here enjoyed it but i found it totally boring and uninspiring to play.
Damn you Jedi Knight
I enjoyed it during my first playthrough. It will probably be my only playthrough as well since it's basically a console-biased third person Star Wars themed platformer.
And yes, damn you Jedi Knight for ruining every post-Jedi Knight/KoToR-game in the Star Wars universe.
liked the game a lot more than i expected. simple, mindless fun
No plans as far as I know. Respawn is occupied with apex legends i guess.
AAA single player games are in a though spot anyways, it's losing money. Only Square Enix is trying (and not doing so well). EA has zero interest in a sequel in a single player game.

It's not weird. Most of my friends are wasting away playing grindy online games too, even though they were avid single player gamers before.
I came to some deserted planet (maybe 3rd or 4th level), made a pause for a week or so, and when I was back, didn't have a clue what to do or any kind of drive to continue playing. I'm maybe an old fart and/or modern games don't know how to stimulate the player.
