So it's that time of the year again. What would you recommend? Both are pretty much same price here, would prefer the cosmos since i can buy it from the "better" store here EMAG which gives me the option to return in 30 days if i get bored or whatever. The Oculus would only have a 14 day return window if i buy it online only.

Is the cosmos better / same / worse than the Oculus Rift S?

What do i lose / gain? Will i be able to play none of the oculus "exclusive" games? Will steamVR work better with Oculus?

Is the cosmos tracking that much worse than the oculus? I read that you need a lot of light to not have cosmos flat out fail to track, is it still true? The VR "room" would have a dark stone wall on one side, rest of the walls would be beige while i would also say the room isn't that bright overall (not that much natural light). Would i need to keep the spotlights on for it to work? Any experience would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Planning to buy today or tomorrow so any insight would be great.

I bought an Oculus Quest and it is awesome. It actually works great wirelessly playing games from my PC. I don't even notice any lag like I have when, in the past, I have tried streaming games from various devices.

Quest image quality with link cable is noticiable worse than native image, not sure if i have just too too good vision for this kind of stuff, but its ok and works well. Btw, do not buy the link cable, its way too overpriced, you can get type-C cable that works flawlessy for like 20 bucks, just make sure it has beefy wiring, so it can send power and data same time.
