Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase recently explained that Final Fantasy 7 Remake (FF7R) would be released in small chunks as a means of speeding up development time.
In relation to how many parts Final Fantasy 7 Remake will eventually comprise, Kitase said, “We have a general idea of how the story will play out, but we haven’t decided exactly [how many parts], nor can we confirm anything.”
“There’s speculation that it will be three parts, but we’re just doing things one step at a time.”
I'm not sure these are from the real OST (which is out in late may) but rather extracted from the game itself (you can hear in game sfx in some of them).... Also all game music folder/assets leaked on the web (so much for "we dont have 5.05+ keys BTW ), seems the guy converted these to MP3 and uploaded to Youtube....
Yes she is. She is pretty emotional too. She sounds good for a Youtuber.. I played it in French so first time i've been hearing the English dub, seems they decided she has a kiddie voice though in all languages, cuz she has a similar voice in french too.
After looking through her channel she's a big fan of The Last of Us so Ill be watching all her videos on that as long as I've finished the game myself first of course.
And no I won't be playing Dark Souls 3 before that
I finished it and it was a great experience. It takes its time since it's slow, but I appreciated that. A few chapters could've been deleted. Since they've set up the characters properly, the following eps should be a lot faster paced I think. Technically it's average, nothing mind blowing here. I didn't have any problems with the ending, but I am someone who does not like an exact copy of something old. If I want that, I'll just play the original.
The game is made with a lot of love and dedication (except the technical part of it), and I enjoyed it a lot. FF7 is the best jRPG I've ever played, though I must admit I was very young and I am not a big jRPG fan, I'm glad this was made. Even if they never release other episodes, which would be stupid, I'll be glad.
It took me 34 hours and I didn't do any of the challenges. 8.5/10
I did enjoy this game after many moons ago playing the original but i did still feel it was just mainly filler material. Completed the game and all side quests and challenges in 38hrs, so it's definitely worth picking up
Finished it a few weeks ago. Definitely worth it and I don't have much to complain about. Basically the only things that should be fixed are the low-res skyboxes and that the music should change for the road connecting sector 5 and 6. It's great that the nighttime-date music plays during your trip with Aerith, but it should be something different when you are roaming around with the gang. Kinda kills the special moment you had with the girl.
Apart from that, it cannot be stressed enough just how great the OST is. The OST has over 9 hours of individual music for a 30 hour game. Goes to show how many tracks are only being used once in the entire game and nearly all of them hit home.
I was gonna write more about how they made so many individual tracks for this game that it's just insane, but then found this video:
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
- Albert Camus
Gonna be worth a replay on PS5 for sure and the inclusion of DLC and photo mode is damn nice! I just dread how much more space this will need as the game on PS4 was 100GB!
