Well it has crossplatform with Xbox and a ton of kids play it.

It's the most pointless repetitive grind ever, a couple of months ago I played a whole week with friends.

But I wish I had that time back.

Not sure how it is now but the game had its moments. I wish they would make PvP optional and add more PvE content.

Though I admit, there was some epic trolling at release, like stealing other players ships or sinking them and shit.

Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 32gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.

This game is as fun as you and your friends will make it, they did add a bunch of content lately which adds some meat to the bones.

Yep. You endlessly collect gold and reputation to buy more cosmetics. It even devalues the PvP somewhat since the main motivation is supposed to be stealing people's shit, but after a while you stop caring about defending/attacking players since you already have all the stuff you like and there is nothing else meaningful to do.

The core gameplay is definitely fun but the game runs out of steam very quickly. IMO if you want to try it, get it on Gamepass for a month (if that's still available on the cheap, I'm not up to date), play the story missions with friends and move on.

But yea, very shitty of Microsoft/Rage not to warn him in advance I guess.

Although.. who does the MI IP belong to again ? Lucas or him ? They probably bothered to warn of the two out of sheer legal concerns.
Edit : Disney holds those rights. If he wants to complain someone didn't give him his due credance, he should probably take it up to them.

(Yeah, I doubt I'll be able to get that bad taste of my mouth after RtmI, aka the most self absorbed game I've played since a LONG time, aka "the main dev got old and had kids, and he wants you to know all about it while ruining fantasy because remember, fantasy ain't real !", the game)
