That's my default as well, but of course there are advantages to owning the legit version: in this case you get access to the game from day 1 (no waiting for a crack), you're guaranteed to always have access to the latest updates, and can easily unlock DLCs (I think). It is also perhaps possible that the scene won't put cracking this game on high priority since it was available for free and cracking Denuvo can be a tricky process.
I mean, I'm not a total war junkie (always disliked the inability to combine pausing with ironman mode, and the battles feel too chaotic for my taste), but I think that after skipping the last few non-fantasy entries I'll give this one a spin.
Heh, yeah the Subreddit is going big on the memes, plus there's a civil war between the CA apologists and the Epic haters. Kind of funny to watch from the sidelines.
I am saying the other "Saga" title was crap, too. I.e. Britannia.
Imho the last "great" historical title was Shogun 2.
Warhammer and Warhammer 2 are the best TW's.
And rumor has it, they are reworking sieges in Warhammer, to make them actually interesting again. but more info is needed.
The funny thing is they renamed Fall of the Samurai as "Saga" to give the "Saga" line some gravitas, but it's far superior than Britannia, and most likely this crapola.

what in the actual fuck? They split FotS from Shogun 2 and made it stand alone??? Why???
What's funny, is that they act like giving it the Saga title, is a good thing, lol.
I mean, I can see it fitting into their vision, of what a saga title encompasses, but sadly, the reality doesn't much that picture, especially doing it retro to an old game, lol.
It really depends, how that damage is dealt. I.e. in Warhammer (guess 3K as well), some heroes are good v other Heroes (i.e. single damage, armor-piercing for example) while others are more vs infantry troops (Aoe Damage, but low/er single target damage) and others are a mix or maybe better vs. large (cavalry, monsters etc.).
Somehow I can't help to think they took 3K and Warhammer, mixed it together, and made new unit textures and voila.
Tho what I really want to see, are the siege battles because they will probably be an indication on how the new Warhammer sieges would/could look like.

Maybe if you flank Achilles you get a 5000x damage heel shoot!
