kinda sad they didnt show any scenes from onboard the subs or the convoy, missed opportunity , but i guess they wanted the focus on the war of exhaustion
and damn if subs really put up a fight against two destroyers like that while on the surface , if there is actual records of that, thats some crazy brave bastards
considering all was filmed on a green screen and actors never set a foot in the ocean, still quite nicely done
Submarines mostly attacked while surfaced at night. Back then submerged submarines were very slow, that's why when planes showed up u-boats were screwed.
I liked the movie but it was a bit too obvious that they wasn't on sea... you see the ship go up and down in pretty big waves but inside the cabin they are not keeping balance at all.
