So i got NIS2006 for a client of mine, and i already put NSW2006 on there computer. I went to install NIS2006, and it kept giving me the error saying there was already another norton program installed...now...if you go into the main console of NSW2006, there is somethin that says limited protection under the web browsing and email & messaging, it says limited coverage, click here to to see how to be fully covered, then it links me to NIS2006.

Anwyays, my whole point is....can i install them together? is there a certain order ih ave to do them in?

Anyone have any advice. thanks

ook, I dont have an idea on how you solve your little problem there. But please uninstall everything related to Norton and get alternatives: Kaspersky, Nod32, Agnitum, EVERYTHING!

Sorry for going offtopic Smile

It's for a client of mine. I've suggest alternative, but they've got the whole "I've heard of norton, makes them so much better then everyone else". So i get paid to put what they want on it.

Nod32 is the best. I have given up on Norton, it isn't worth the trouble.

Nortons is more hassle then its worth. any problems u ever have. disable nortons and everything magically works again.
gotta agree with YourGod. I sell my customers nod32. and they dont come back with viruses ;/
i should prolly recommend nortons to them so i get more jobs

Its hard to say what kind of virus program is the best. Hey its a fucking program, its scripted, we're humans, think we can take them easier than the programs if we got some skills tho. I don't, so i just go to: start-run-"msconfig" and "regedit". Also got some spyware removers and panda.. but im not really trusting programs like that...

As you have been told, use something else then Norton!

I work as customer support for ADSL for a swedish ISP. I can tell you that each day I get 5+ calls with people having problems using the internet, outlook you name it and they all use NIS. Tell to deactivate it or remove it. Magically it works everytime... Razz
