I did my "calibration" by changing to "game mode" for all my 4k content and rely on the mastering done by the people who actually produce the content and disabled all "image cleanup" shit. I don't need denoising, mpeg artefact reduction and so on on a properly mastered image.
I'm just on the 65B9 and the image is just perfect. x265, 4k HDR @ 60fps (f.e. Gemini Man) runs flawless with the internal player and I just use the windows 10 internal sharing feature, no special software needed. The only downside is due to the DTS limitations some releases switch to "lesser audio". But most releases have dolby atmos and that is played just fine
Oh and I can recommend Webvideo Caster if you want to directly watch some streams on your TV. Just install the app on your android/ios device and TV, go to the webpage with the webvideo caster phone app and then cast to your TV.

Thanks man. The lack of any measurements seemed weird to me, that's why I asked. Too bad there are barely any reviews, but I trust avforums when it comes to TV's. According to Steve Withers there's barely any difference between C9 and GX.
It's a bit strange a new series of TV's doesn't have any reviews while it's already on the market for a month.

Regarding DTS above. If your video has ONLY DTS Audio it will simply not play it. And Gemini man was a quite big release and it streamed issueless even via wifi (5Ghz)... Though that movie looks bland as fuck.

The 65C9 was delivered yesterday and I tinkered with it for a while, I really like it. It's massive, looks much smaller in shops, but I'll get used to it. 4k rips look great, that was to be expected. 4k rips and remuxes work flawlessly from an external ssd btw (buy an external ssd it's awesome!). What truly amazed me is how good 1080i looks. I expected something a bit blurry, but it looks really good. The motion is also very nice, I don't have problems with it. I am using ISF bright, trumotion off and de-blur 7. I don't see any difference with de-judder, so that's set to 0.
Sound is meh, it's as average as my old Philips from 2013. The Philips was a high end model though. I'll get a soundbar or a proper 5.1 set when I move to my new home.
Edit: what an awesome TV, watching anything on this is a joy. Even 4K Netflix with shitty 8Mbps looks great. The TV itself is fast and responsive and I think the settings "ISF light/dark" and Cinema (Home) are excellent with a few tweaks. Really glad I bought this.

@Mister_s: Actually DTS seems to play fine. DTS-HD seems to have issues. At proper HDR 4k content I would totally set it to game mode and rely on the content creators and not some post processing to meddle with the picture.
@Adebisi: Just don't forget to set image mode to game mode too. HDR works fine

The fuck lol got my C9 and still almost every game on PS4 Pro has ghosting when i move the camera, only game that looked good without ghosting is The Last of Us remastered. I'm not even mad just done with this shit forever, another 1800 usd gone to shit. I tried everything hdr on and off, game mode on and off, it's got to do with lg fucking TruMotion, when off a terrible ghosting everytime i move the camera, when on it's smoother and lest ghosting but then the game stutter. ffs I'm lost for words. Never gonna touch lg products ever again. Maybe it's just not ment to play 30fps games or whatever, yeah long day and i can't believe i wasted so much money for nothing, oh well let this be a lesson for me, no more tv shopping ever again and im fucked with a tv that cant play 30fps for the next 5-6 years lol, there's go all my ps5 hpye

Every where i see it's regarded as one of the best tv available. I must saw 15 video review where all said it's near perfect, there's something really wrong here, it can't be that im the only one seeing nonstop ghosting everytime i pan the camera, ffs i need to rest now, 2 lg tvs in a row.... Truly im a stupid ass no doubt. And i cant return it since in Israel when you conect it to the electricity it's yours and non refundable. Im truly fucked for the next 5-6 years, when a letdown, feels so dumb and bad.

Well, if you read 15 reviews than it wasn't on a whim... unless you didn't need it and only had those 1800 on your account

Are you sure there's not some feature on the TV or DS4 that you can turn change to get rid of/mitigate the ghosting? That sounds weird.

Are you sure its not the forced motion blur that is in the game you are seeing?

Since I see nothing "wrong" with these videos, what you are seeing might just be the effects of lower frame rates with no inherent motion blur by your tv. Its a stuttery effect to me.
The only real solution is to get used to it and higher frame rates. Any other "solution" is just as bad imo. The "motion blur" of LCDs Isn't good either. And motion interpolation produces errors.
A panasonic or sony OLED should have the same problem, btw. It's not your purchase, if that helps in any way...
I was shocked when I got my first plasma. The sharpness in motion was the highest I've seen (had other issues in motion though), but that exacerbated the issue. My oled is actually not as sharp in motion, because it is hold type display (takes the full to display each frame, whereas a plasma flickers). It doesn't have the other effects my plasma had though. The fact that it displays 60fps frames for 16.6ms and 30fps for 33.3ms with (in most cases) no blur between frames, causes a visual stutter.
Basically what you need for smooth and sharp motion is a short display duration for each frame. You get that automatically with sufficiently high frame rates (ideally much higher than 60fps, but 60 is okay/good) or by inserting blank/black phases, which can cause terrible flicker (requires at the very very least 60fps and frame rate and display frequency should be exactly the same!).

You're using a shitty 30fps capable console on an extremely responsive screen. Let's hope the next consoles will aim for 60fps+. This is a problem with any good screen, you see the shortcomings of the device you connect it to.

Nah it can't be normal what i'm seeing, the vids i upped aren't good since it's recorded by the ps4 and doesn't show what my eyes sees, a constant nonstop ghosting everytime i move the right stick, i mean heavy ghosting not something subtle... Everything around npcs, objects, buildings or mountains just have fucking horrible and very heavy and noticeable ghosting.
Now it can't be a faulty tv since i just had one with the exact same problem.
It can't be the C9 in general since there's no way in hell people are playing this way... Again its not something subtle... The whole screen just moves from the ghosting.
So it's either that my ps4 pro is faulty (but then again hows tlou remaster runs smooth without no problems?)
Or either im going blind.
Any how there's nothing that need to be like this for sure.
Im going to stop playing for now, maybe only on pc and hopes that somehow the ps5 will fix it for me. (Very doubt it will).

If you upload videos by the PS4, why do you expect that we could see ANY effect your TV produces? In game mode no post processing is active, so tru motion will not be in effect. Care to post screenshots of your tv settings?
