Haha! Nah, as cool as it could/would be to do it, ultimately, we don't let that happen for various reasons. Not in the best interests of either party there hehe.

Yeah, I get that. Looked at the first picture earlier and imagined your son as the Lone Ranger saying "Hi Yo Silver" lol
Just celebrated our 4th anniversary yesterday. Despite restrictions still in place we still were able to have a very enjoyable evening with some Greek food we picked up. We parked near we’re we had our reception and we’re able to get another picture in front of some jasmine flowers that were fortunately still there .
I’ll try to share a picture or two later. Also, we will find out what the next one will be so I’ll share that too. We’re pretty excited!

@Sin Another co-worker/friend of mine had the same date just different (earlier) year. It just worked out perfect for us. Fell on a Saturday and was exactly one year after we met.
Wedding pic
Spoiler:
Yesterday/anniversary pic (Note this was essentially a selfie as we did not have a camera person following us around hehe) Yes, I have "quarantine hair" so it's not been cut or styled at all since it gets quite unruly as it gets longer)
Spoiler:
Edit: Not so good news is that I found out I have a ruptured disc in my thoracic area of my back. I've been having pain there for the last couple of years and finally got around to looking into it. Had I known it was this I would have gone sooner. Bright side is that surgery is scheduled for June 18th and everyone I've talked to has mentioned it was a life changer for them, in a good way, so I'm really looking forward to it. The in-laws will be in town for a couple of weeks around that time so they will be able to help out while I am in recovery for the first couple of weeks. After that, I will just not be able to lift the kids for a while which will suck, but the long term payoff will/should be worth it.

You two look great but did you get sunburnt from storing some Vitamin-D
It might seem like bad news for now but atleast you were still able to catch it before it became worse. My friend's brother ignored it and now he has to deal with chronic back pain.
Thanks! Yes, I got some sun, but also bad allergies ever since I moved to the east coast. I HAVE to take allergy meds daily or I get itchy eyes and scratchy throat and such. It's rough here if you didn't grow up here I guess.
And yeah, I need to get the back thing taken care of, or I'll be useless when baby 3 comes around. And I can't NOT pick up my kiddos. I love em too much .

So with all of the other crazy crap going on in the world, I am hoping to shed some laughter and absolute cuteness overload with the following videos of my daughter. They are awesome haha .
I was off to the side making "guacamole", which the kids love, but the jalapeno was a bit much for this particular batch.

Thought you were giving her jalapeno to eat, was like "WTF?! Is this some secret family tradition to toughen your kids up?"
Hahaha! If you couldn't tell, I'm half hispanic . Seriously. My dad is a short hispanic (and balding), dude. I'm 6 foot with blonde hair and blue eyes. My mom won the gene fight for sure haha.
Edit: Surgery for the back is next thursday, the 18th. Hope all goes well for me. Getting excited and nervous about it.

Thanks all! She did enjoy the guafamole as did her brother, but it was spicy to him, too hehe. Next batch will hopefully be better.
Got the inlaws coming into town this evening to help out while I'm recovering. Tomorrow is the day. Still pretty excited but I'm definitely nervous too. It will only continue towards being nervous the closer it gets, but that is mainly because of where the surgery is taking place on me. Just a bit scary. I'll report back in a couple of days hopefully.

Surgery went well. Lotta muscle soreness which is normal. Initially had some morphine afterwards which helped me doze off and get some rest. Now I’m on some pill stuff for pain which should kick in soon.
I’ve already been able to get out of the best twice now for a short walk which is really cool. I tried some stairs with the PT person and did well there too.
I’ll get to go home tomorrow morning but all in all I am doing well I think. Just need more rest and time to recover. Hope all is good with you guys on the hump!!

I wish you a speedy recovery Mikey! I've been keeping my herniated L5 in check with specific exercises and sports, but it's not easy to tame the beast since the pain follows unpredictable patterns in my case. The physiotherapist(s) didn't advise me to undergo surgery yet, but I fear the moment will arrive one day for me as well. *knocks on wood*
@Pumpy - I know haha. Just a habit to ask how people are doing I guess . Thank you and I haven't received final bill yet but I think insurance took care of most of it.
@Ixi - Thank you! I hear you about just doing PT. It was originally suggested to me I try that route by my primary doctor. While I trust him, I still wanted to seek additional feedback and started with some chiropractic attempts.
To summarize, both chiro docs wanted me to get an MRI (which I ended up doing) and then saw a neurosurgeon for consult. The surgeon is the one that said surgery was the better of the two options I had (other being PT) based on how long I had the pain thus far.
Once I was on the table and opened up, the surgeon said the protrusion had actually calcified which made it into more of a marble like substance instead of the "gel" he had expected. This was actually beneficial to me as it made the doc's work easier as they were able to use some ultrasonic tool to get rid of the rupture. He said the procedure actually turned out even better than anticipated due to everything that was found and had happened at this point and went on to say that having the surgery was definitely the right approach in this scenario.
It's only been a couple of days, and I haven't gone crazy with the pain meds (allowed to take about 4 per day but have been doing 2-3). So far, the pain/soreness really just seems to be muscle related and not previous pain. The doc did say it would take a bit of time for the nerves to heal up since the protusion had been rather significant. I'll share a pic here.
Anyway, Ixi, I really do hope things get better for you and if not, I hope any surgery you may have to do goes very well. Pain is no fun to live with, especially when it affects everything you do in life and the people around you.

Glad that it worked out for the best. Do you have any incision or cut on your back from the surgery? Btw on first glance that image looks like a macro shot of a tyre!
