It's a article that indeed doesn't say much. Needs a deeper investigation into the whole toxic work environment thing. Other than that this article can be summed as Director constantly scrapping work/ Avellone's vision being compromised by higher ups/ some departments don't know much of the game is actually done by now

I like CDPR and Witcher games but I am near certain CP2077 will be real bad compared to those. Expectations were high til I saw the gameplay and info. This is why they were hurrying to announce another game in Witcher series. But that's OT.
Dying Light was a game that I never expected I'll get hooked on. For me, the 1st one was absolutely brilliant and engaging. Here's hoping they will also nail it with 2, regardless of the delays.
In case you guys wondered, Techland was not acquired by another publisher. We're still an independent studio, and will deliver Dying Light 2 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
On that note, the translation of the Techland article floating around is totally inaccurate.
While I have your attention, development of Dying Light 2 is moving forward, the game's in good shape (and in good hands), so worry not. It IS coming.

In all seriousness though, the whole thing is rather baffling indeed. From what I've gathered all the man did was being a persistent flirter while inebriated, which is about the standard in any party/convention that involves the entertainment industry. Yes, he might have gone a bit too far by touching someone's arse in the heat of the moment or by sending risqué texts, but is that enough to end a man's career? Give me a break.

we have that in Sweden since 2018.. We have an app for it where you sign the contract before having sex. Sex that isn't forced but where someone didn't agree to it by saying "yes i would like to have sexual intercourse" could potentially get you into trouble. So they've certainly made sure to make it both romantic and appealing to have sex for Swedes..
And at the same time we are the rape capital of the world where the "new nobility", as we call them (due to how the government and law enforcement handle them with kid gloves), often gets away with "I'm 17!!!" even though they're like 40.. or they get away with "i didn't know it was illegal to have sex with children in this country!" (yes we do have such cases, and they do get away with it rather easily, if not always completely.) An Interesting "contrast" i think..
