So in the end all the leaks etc just pointed to P4G, right?.. Oh well. No more game streamings then that could hint the possibilities of more P stuff?.. Databases being

P4G
P4G Digital book
P4G OST (Wich's, honestly, not the whole deal)
aaaaaaaaaand it's gone...

According to some of the leakers we should get P3 at some point as well, I would love that, last time I played P3 via PCSX2 was like 7 years ago.

No info regarding 5 though, but I still think that Atlus went and marketed their Steam developer page, so it must be more than P4G.

Poor Switch folks though Laughing

I would love to be able to play Persona on my switch, but in the same time I don't know how this will work exactly, as they are too long for handheld and I don't see the point of using the Switch docked if I can run the games via emulator. (or play them on the PS4)

Probably it'll be the FES version "for being 3D everything".. But i'd really miss the "DIRECT ORDERS" function from P3P...I only finished P3 in it's P3P version because of that... And following a guide to be prepared for the final boss and it's trolling mechanic...

It was mentioned that the port was Persona 3 Portable.

It's sold on Steam at the moment

Standard edition £15.99
Deluxe Edition £19.99
I bought the duluxe, which comes with the OST soundtrack and a digital artbook.

Most are saying the Deluxe Edition is not worth the extra cash since the soundtrack is only 9 of the songs and the art book is just 18 pages. Still glad though the game is pretty cheap as it means it should sell well and get them to port over the others sooner rather then later.

It is just funny because when I bought Persona 4 on PS2 the pre-order bonus was a 100 page Art Book so it is a lot more then what they are giving out this time so I wonder why they did not actually just use that same art book that they gave out back then.

But can ya enable the online stuff from in-game (the SOS function, etc) or you must not enable it at all?..

Got the 3DGAME version and it works (You just need to change the language in the ini file, wich how funny says "Spanish" in it but the game has no spanish, smartass....(And i've played the game on the VITA and platinum'd it btw)

It's great.

500k in a month is superb for a game that officialy came out 2012.

Hopefully this will open the eyes of Atlus that there is a PC market for their games and with SEGA apparently pushing them, hopefully we will see more titles soon. (P3P was heavily rumoured to be releasing as well)

Also I think the PC release in the first week alone outsold the PS Vita version, but that is understandable.

sadly it gets boring quick. I did the bathhouse dungeon and almost died from boredom. The story is still interesting though.

Yeah, that's something 5 improved upon, though grinding there is still tedious.

I already played the original so just set difficulty to super easy because I can't be arsed with the dungeons and all the dumb quests which is basically just remembering which floor a shadow appears on and grinding that for your quest drop.

At least on easy I don't have to grind and can clear a dungeon in a day and go focus on the other fun parts.

They could have at least made it so that quest items drop before you accept the quest.

Also Izanagi is still trash. Thought they'd have fixed that in Golden. So sad, especially since it's a p cool design and most Persona designs are ugh.

Well P4s dungeons where allrdy a step up from P3 Tartarus was such a fucking bore but yeah they are not that great, mostly because they are randomized i guess.
All in all pretty standard for a PS2 era JRPG but i definitely prefer the dungeon design in DDS 1&2 and SMT Nocturne.

Vanilla P5 dungeons are not that much better either they just have far better visual designs but game play is pretty much the same (and i fucking hate the rat maze and some other parts of them).

I heard Royal improved them a bit and i hope we get a port down the road. Would definitely prefer it over P3 mostly because i allrdy played the shit out of it over the years and i doubt they would actually build a definitive version with P3 FES and P3P content combined since that would be way too much effort.

“As for Steam, while we haven’t been actively releasing Atlus titles on PC, we felt that there was much potential there and put out a direct port of Persona 4 Golden for PC, and the user response was far beyond our expectations,” Satomi said. “That being said, we hope to release Atlus catalog titles across various platforms, whether as direct ports or in the form of remasters or remakes.”
