I am fine with it anyway, DS4 was the cheapest piece of shit ever, the first version I had to send in several times. I will gladly pay a bit more for Sony to bring out sturdier hardware.

OK for me personally - I'll be keeping and relocating my Pro and my 2 DS4s as a secondary console. And honestly...I feel more fuss is being made about this because MS are too lazy to even change theirs this time around hence they can push this 'keep your controller' narrative. Historically, it's far more normal to have had to change your controller with a new gen.

I would have liked DS4 support for multiplatform titles at least, but it's not a huge deal to me.
you can probably get one of those adapters that fakes a DS4 into a DS5 as an emergency solution.
On one hand I can see it being just to sell more controllers, but then also, if you allow DS4s to be used for everything you further discourage all developers from actually making use of the new features.
it's a similar situation as when microsoft wanted to bundle the kinect with every console.
they wanted the devs to know that every console has this capability, so they would invest in it.

Extremely underwhelmed. Hitman 3 looked great, but I mean, if the best game they show is a second sequel AND was running on a PS4 then that don't impress me much!
Useless consoles that are as much exciting as switching your CPU and GPU with the latest crap, then firing up teh lates console port crapolas and running 180fps instead of 165 (or 48fps instead of 44 in case of Horderpson Zero Derp port ).

Looks good tbh. I've never really had a problem with battery life of my Dualshock 4 - I have 2 controllers and simply put one on charge at a time. So a non-issue for me, but good that they've improved it. Also nice that Sony have made some kind of effort iterating rather than just rebranding the existing controller like MS have. That's a bit lazy for a new generation.
I also have 2 DualShock 4 so no big deal but DS4 was a downgrade from DS3, i remember getting about 25 hours iirc every time i fully charged my DS3 and from my DS4 I'm getting about 12 hours, so it will be great to have a better battery that will hopefully lead to more hours played before needing to charge. Also the DualSense looks very cool, can't wait to try it myself.

Not really. It's just supposed to be self inserting i believe and not a proper game by any means, but since when was black females dominant on the game market?
Since we live in a world where every game company has to be politically correct + comment on social problems I guess. And after all the horrible stuff happening in the US, casting black females for these kind of videos is just logical. These kind of advertising clips are not about representing the typical target audience. Not trying to say that black females can't be the target audience of games, but showing the typical white male is just something you probably do not want to do these days as a global company.
I work in the marketing department of a company with a typically white male target audience. At every event, we try to get as many female speakers as possible, because we are trying sooo hard to be politically correct. I find it a bit ridiculous at times, too. There will come a day, when 75% of our speakers will be female just for the sake of it.

And dont get me started on the whole gender neutral speech nonsense that is sooo important in Germany right now. It is no longer ok to say "Studenten" if you refer to a group of university students, because it does not explicitly include female students, since "Student" is the male form and "Studentin" the female form. (Since the birth of mankind it was ok to say "Studenten" because everybody knew that the word does not necessarily say anything about the Gender of the people you are talking about. A group of "Studenten" can absolutely include many women). Nowadays you have to say "Studierende", because that does not at all hint to any gender, but the word is total bullshit from a grammar point of view. Basically you can only be referred to as "Studierend" while you are in the process of studying in the library... Ahhh that stuff makes me mad every time I hear it.
