Yes, MP3 -> MP2 -> MP1.

Also, I don't understand the silly "you only watched utub videos, so you can't have an opinion of a game" argument. Of course you can, especially with crap like Underped, which is basically a linear movie, where if you don't follow the script, they say "cut!" ("Mission Failed") and you go back for another take ("Retry"). I don't see why one can't for their opinion on a shitty game, but watching videos of it.

If you liked this game, good for you, of course.

Nah. MP2>MP1>MP3.
I would love mp3 much more but the damn cutscenes ruin replayability
As for AWE dlc or cotnrol. I hate that what they did. Control is a slog boring game with ugly chin lady. And Alan Wake was something special. Fantastic game... but now they are just removing all it's magic and everything that's special about it as it's just another phenomenon in Control Univers.
I preferred when AW was it's own universe. Made it seem more special

As far as gameplay goes - MP3 is the best. Buy an SSD and you can skip cutscenes pretty much instantly.

For story and presentation I slightly prefer MP2.

MP1 was a great game when it came out but at this point it's certainly dated (and I'm not talking about the graphics)

So they are masters at controlling the "sexy-ness".

That part covering the bum is depressing.

Well, they got money pre-release from Epic, Nvidia and Sony. They are now trying to sell the game on Steam and why not get some extra money from next-gen consoles as well?

GOG version DRM free too, if it wasn't posted already

Nice!

This unlocks in 4 hrs, I think?

Can't wait to actually try it, I've always enjoyed Remedy's games.

Just make sure you give it a couple of hours. It's got a very different setting and story and it may take a while to really get into it. Once you do you should find it a fascinating experience (and there's some really good music in certain parts of the game - no spoilers).

I can't wait to get my hands on AWE (released today, we'll see how soon it shows up ).

The AWE DLC is what got me excited as well, that's why I can't wait to try it Razz

Huh? I've got an overclocked 1060 6GB with perfectly smooth 60fps (with some settings tweaking, a few of the settings really hit the GPU hard). Perhaps you're on higher res @ 144hz and want to max it out to get the best experience? Then yes, you'll need a beefy system (esp. GPU). I'm content with 1920*1080 @ 60fps with some lower settings.

Oooh... Then that explains it. Wink

ps. I always use NVIDIA Settings control panel to set Vertical sync to "FAST" (with vsync enabled in-game) and Power Managment Mode to "Prefer Maximum Performance" for each game I have installed. If I feel like tweaking the settings for a particular game I use NVidia Profile Inspector.

i installed it again earlier this week so i can finish the first expansion before awe comes out and its more of the same and forgot how good the game was

many updates later now you can turn off motion blur without hex editing Laughing

i was right back then and the first expansion is with marshall, people already played awe on ps4 and and from what ive seen is not that big on alan wake so lower those expectations...looks more of the same

Damn, I actually really enjoy it. I did not expect that since my interest from the trailers was not very high. The story seems interesting so far and the gameplay is satisfying. Been playing it almost for the whole day Very Happy
