cool, the f12 part made it work for me, before i only tried ctrl shift m and nothing happened, even said all ok n bullshit but it was never added to my uplay
with f12 it showed up instantly

just tried it again. now it seems they have completely disabled changing shop region "by hand"
the option to "change shop region" is gone , you can only "update shop region" and if you click you are refered to contacting support :/

They only changed it for new changes, so far no need to verify the region youre set to.

The obvious question: have you tried my method in the Steam thread?
Because it seems most people didn't read it. It was done when Steam made it more troublesome (after the sales) to switch regions.
Now don't be doubly daft and share it elsewhere if it works for you. Especially not on the Steam forums like some absolute morons were doing during the sale.
