I think achievements are stored in your profile no matter what, but unless you own the game or have access to it through sharing, you can't see them or the games profile in general.
You only need Gamepass, EA Play is coming with it for free.
Unfortunately yeah, I think it is the basic EA Play plan.

This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10.
Still good. You can stack up GP and convert to ultimate. EA Play added there now. You will get vault access (similar to Steam EA Play). Usually that is $5/mo or $30/ year.
Plus new game trials for 10 hours. Most of the EA stuff goes into vault within a year anyway.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
As I said months back, MS basically ignited buy out war and more companies will do the same.
It is inevitable after all. Developing AAA games nowdays costs rather millions than thousands of dollars. If you want to stay in the game you have to release something new (or upgraded) every few years.
I think Codemasters did their best with copy-pasta but obviously they saw themselves that they cannot do it forever.
EA is EA, but time will tell can we have something really new out of this. If they decide to do the same what they did to eg. Westwood that wouldn't be surprising neither.
Let's wait and see.

EA Devs/Employees sell rare items on a black market for their own games to turn in a profit. In this case Madden NFL where they sell untradable stuff with <1% droprate for 1-2k.

But who the fuck is stupid enough to pay real money for crap like that?
