It's unlikely you'll get an improved framerate but i'm not sure about the loading times. It should look and run the exact same.
It seems Sony uses some kind of "legacy" mode that make old games run and look the exact same, contrary to Xbox SEX that will profit to old games.
Since you are getting an XBOX SEX, I suggest you just get the Xbox version of it. It will inevitably run and look better since the Xbox One X version should already run better than on PS4 pro.

CDPR have stated that it'll be improved from day one on PS5 (I could find the quote, but cba right now!) with the full patch to follow next year. So yeah, I guess you're right in assuming it'll be higher res and/or framerate initially. Worth having in the meantime.

It's misleading though, that upgrade is only so the PS4 version can run on PS5, it's not the real PS5 version that's coming out in 2021.

However, it's seemingly just an upgrade to let you play the title on the next-gen consoles because the big Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 and Xbox Series X upgrade is coming later.
I see no “rtx”. Reflections are still screen space retardolas. In the last video, I really see no difference in fidelity; the LOD is still terrible, shadows are very low resolution and flicker.
I'm not sure i even want to buy a PS5 now. Have seen what magic they've done with the prices. 73 Euro for a new game is the not a very sexy price for games here. They're cashing in on the no piracy thing no doubt.

lol that's really dumb, i mean the game already exists so why would you change the main character look? If this was an unreleased game like they did with The Last of Us iirc, that they changed Ellie design, but that was before release so i can get it, this i don't like and it doesn't make sense imo.

not many which is my point , especially with the ms price model , they will adjust down or sell a lot less
Lot of rage about it, i only install one game at a time so no issue for me.
I know, right? I'd take this over 2TB of mechanical or even a hybrid storage solution any day. As I would take this amount of storage, with the option of expansion, over a larger SSD and a higher initial price point. We have options...re-download, store on an external and swap stuff around, it's really not the end of the world when you look at what we're getting in return.
Soooo much anger and bile over at resetera. If you said a year ago we'd have SSD's of this speed, even with this capacity, not even mentioning the GPU/CPU performance and ray-tracing, people would have thought you were crazy. And yet now, nothing seems to be good enough for the guys and gals over there
