That 11 GB VRAM requirement is delicious.

Not long ago we were discussing on this forum (I was pointing out) the necessity of more than 10 GB VRAM that the 3080 GTX has...

Mobster with a Fag

Guess the 3070 and 3080 are the "poor man's" high-end. The creme de la creme will probably come later in the form of 3070/3080 Ti and / or SUPER.

"Cheap high-end" nVidia GPUs my ass... Laughing

Let's not go wild and use some ubishit shit as some sort of benchmark regarding if 10GB VRAM is enough or not. At least not just yet

When was the last time a requirement was an exaggeration? Normally, whatever companies post as "recommended" is actually the "minimum".

It's ubishit shit.
When there's a trend among several developers that +10GB will be needed for 4K ultra settings, THEN it's confirmed.

And this is just a transitional game. Once all games start coming with the "+20GB ultra textures" as default (like what happened with "4K texture" packs), the writing is on the wall.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Haha yeah, it's the new annoying 'quirky' designed to appeal to the Gen Z that's present in so many tripeA productions of late. Ubi are among the forerunners of such a trend, as it usually happens with bad things in gaming Laughing

Looks like they made a different aproach this time. That's unusual for Ubi. Surprised

I suspected this game will be good because Clint Hocking is at the helm. This is his project since he returned to Ubisoft. When the guy who directed Chaos Theory makes a new game, you dont just say lol ubi, it could be something else here

"ACG" and some another random youtuber that wants fame and money.

Indeed, great sources for objective and truthful opinions.

i don't like ACG one bit, but he actually didn't sound very biased here, basically said we won't know if it's any good until its released.. and the first dude was mainly impressed that it had changed a lot since he last saw it.

I went through a couple of previews and could not find one single thing to spark my interest. The guy above was right, Ubisoft games have no depth, and then failed to explain why would this game be any different.

The first "random" dude is a just a small growing youtuber, but if you check his channel, he makes really good long video game analyses. Not reviews. Analyses. I'd rather watch that, than some big goofy youtuber, that's paid to brainwash kids into buying a shitty game. Good content is rare nowadays. And about ACG, i'm no fan, but he has a good standard and idea about making reviews.

Still, this game doesn't look appealing. I hope people are right and the game is good. But this is Ubisoft. I will belive when I see it.

this.
the first one got a nice story with a strong character.
the second one a playable story, but with stupid cliches winking here and there to everyone, with characters put there just to be hated about... damn, just Wrench was ok.
this one? dunno, mixed feelings. Laughing

The open gameplay from the 2nd one was really fun, though. I enjoyed that game a lot more than I thought I would. This one looks to be more of the same, on a bigger scale. If you don't like the shooting mechanics, just play as a hacker, or stealth, or whatever.

I like me some Watch_Dogs

They never look great in trailers and gameplay videos but once I play them I usually can't stop until I finish them

Plus I always think they look great when playing them

Maybe it's because I'm a bit of a voyeurist and this series plays into that
