They can hurry as much as they want. I've no faith in their supply stock.

I wouldn't bet on AMD neither to be honest. I don't think it's up to neither of them regarding the stocks. I'm sure they have maximum orders from their partners but current situation is what it is.

Im interested now in power efficiency, i bet it will be more efficient than 3080 and what will happen when you increase power limit + overclock it, could be very good in pure rasterization performance, RT obviously will be another thing what is interesting, dont think they can do as good as nvidia, they are already on second gen iteration in RTX.

EDIT: Hmmm... was it even the biggest "big navi" Very Happy?

There is no difference between OC and basic version (only the price, the OC is so small that every card does it), only the high end "kingpin" models etc will have binned cores that overclocks like hell.

No leather jacket smell?

Also speaking of efficiency, nvidia basically overclocked the 3080 and 3090

https://i.imgur.com/tzwN79g.png

that's not bad for over 100 watts less

No they did not, every card undervolts differently, Radeon VII was good example, mine ran with 0.95V at stock clocks, some cards required 1.15V to be stable at stock clocks, insane differences on silicon quality. Current "custom" 8nm Samsung process what Nvidia uses, seems to be absolute dog shit, thats why they are selling the cards cheap, quick cash grab before they will relese super series with tweaked and better manufacturing process.

Yep lack of supply, have to wait for AIB's to properly fix these cards with Rev2.0 boards, good thing patching the broken launch drivers fixed stability for the impatient Cool Face

It's also a shit way of abusing return policy IMO. Some people receive multiple cards, try them all and return all but one. Asshole move, must be frustrating when running an online store. I know the return policy is awesome and for the consumer, but it's not meant for that.

Aaanyway, I really hope I can order something before November 15th through the company scheme, otherwise I'll have to pay full price Sad

You can read reviews of these cards, use user opinions to make a judgement, then buy the one you want. Buying mutliple cards and trying them out is an asshole move IMO. You open the box and the store needs to deal with your return, it becomes an open box item. If the product is defect, it's another story. This is just my opinion obviously, I don't run an online shop so it doesn't bother me.
