Who would have thought that the recommended specs are showing that amount of VRAM what the required card has Before there was 2080ti 11GB, and all derps were "100% TRUE DAT 10GB NOT ENOUGH", "LOL 3080 DED ON ARRIVAL", "24GB FROM BULGARIA". Perhaps they will soon update the updated specs with 20GB VRAM when the 3080 20GB comes fight AMD.
There'll be drama when those 3080 owners hit the vram limit, but until then it's just those that don't have one that bring that issue up again and again.
Boredom maybe. Games like Watch Dogs and Cyberpunk can't come quick enough
What happens when they hit the supposed limit? It only starts being able to play 8-bit games?
Anyone who buys a 10GB 3080 is going to be able to play everything for a long time to come. In the event that a game hits the limit, you turn one setting down a notch. OH NOES.
And if some people are being honest, the only reason most don't have one now is because they can't get one
I guess some people could just be waiting 2 more weeks for all this generations GPU lineup to release, then make a rational purchase decision on all available options.

You know what else is interesting? The 3080 still can't max out many games at even 1440p, let alone 4K, yet these limits don't seem to cause any concern.
Please share your experience with it, we should probably move to the right thread though.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
