The only character that fails for me is Wee Hughie. The idea of americanizing him was horrible, as is 90% of his "quirky" dialogue. It worked for the comic version since being a Scot was IMO a major part of what made the character work better there. Why the change, I wonder? Doesn't MM count as an American already? If not, that's pretty racist IMO
I was kinda hoping to see him die. What an absolute piece of trash in a otherwise badass show. Just some petty self insert and a lame romance story for the nitwits to self insert into.

So.. i just finished it and I really enjoyed the writing. Butchers confrontation that was organised by his mom seemed initially and cheesy but went so much further than initially expected and it was refreshing! One of the better shows I enjoyed watching and together with Watchmen this was actually grear for anti hero shows
It was indeed awesome to watch but some of the plot developements at the end were a bit too easy. And as some of you already said, there are some inconsistencies in Hughies developement.
But who cares right? Its just so entertaining.
