Good viewing tonight, seen both, but wife hadn't.
Taxi Driver (1976) - 9.5/10
A masterpiece of filming, acting and craft.
United 93 (2006) - 9/10
Harrowing tale of the many brave in 9/11. So fuckin sad, yet so inspiring for others who are so God damn selfish in life. What a journey this must have been, and one I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, no kidding. A well done movie, edge of seat stuff, but it leaves you with awful thoughts of what it must have been like on that plane. Grim & terrifying, but all should watch.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Extended). Nah, this is getting worse after every viewing, unlike the first. "Extended" probably isn't doing it any favors either. My least favorite part is that boring harbor town and its characters and what happens there, drags the movie down a lot. Still, decent fantasy. weak 7/10
Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. Pretty fun, nice balance of comedy/horror.. 80's were weird, often in a fantastic way, sometimes in a very cringy way.. 6/10

I've seen these before but I felt like watching them again for the fight scenes.
Undisputed 3 - 6/10 as a whole, 8/10 for the Scott Adkins fight scenes
Boyka: Undisputed - 7/10 with a story that's somewhat better than the three prequels, 8.5/10 for the Scott fights.
The fight scenes tend to be top-notch when it comes to choreography and I'm much more entertained by watching them than I do UFC/MMA where they tend to Royce it, laying on the floor grappling which is dead boring to watch.
Scott Adkins is an amazing athlete, acrobat and martial artist (jump kick with three hits in one jump). Very entertaining.

Too bad that he is mostly either doing some minor stunt work or is starring in shitty b movies :'(

Yeah. That British gangster thing he did (Accident Man I think) was pretty abysmal. Haven't bothered with his post-Boyka work after that.

Love and Monsters - 7.5/10
This was surprisingly good. Good script and pacing, likable characters, nice visuals.

Unhinged - 7.0/10
Technically this was really not a very good movie...but it's short enough.
And fat, sweaty, insane Russel Crowe going totally postal in this movie - makes it worthwhile.

Unhinged: 6/10
Watcheable, but it hurt. Just way over-the-top completely fake, unrealistic stuff even for a movie.

american made: 7/10 , six if it wasnt based on real story
the story of the cia fucking up the entire south american continent and creating the cartels ... disgusting country
working for the cia is like having worked for the nazis in my book , bloodstained forever and we still feel its impact 40 years later , blood gushing by the thousands of innocents in cartel wars funded with american dollars...

If it weren't American dollars it could have been pesos.
So I'm glad innocents are dying for a more valuable coin

I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with ST2, lol.

Well Jameson Cameron did Terminator 1 and 2, classics 10/10.
After that he didn't do any more and, coincidently, all the other Terminators either suck ass or.. suck donkey balls.
And Spielberg did Jurassic Park, all the others were done by someone else, the drop in quality is fascinating.
So if you wanna keep the magic going go with the same team, amazing fucking director and all his little minions (that did the first movie).

Love and Monsters: 8/10
Pretty good and not as mushy-romancey as I was led to believe. A positive surprise for sure.

Checked it out and wow, what a gigantic pile of shit that movie was 2/10 and it would've been 1/10 if it weren't for his bat-jug

You Should Have Left (2020) - 4/10
Disappointing, thoroughly, despite Kevin being one of my fav actors, but this is just way below his acting class. He 'should have left' it alone.
World Trade Center (2006) - 7/10
Great movie, and it spells out what it must have been like for the few who survived, but through other means.

Oh, I've actually seen that one. It was okay and I'd give it a 6.5/10 as a whole, 7.8/10 for the Scott-stuff.
I wish they'd do more Undisputed-like movies with him (ie. forced to do full-contact blood sport fighting). He makes the old martial arts "heroes" look bad (think Jean-Claude Van Damme etc.).
