You don't even need to multibox to pay your expansions with gold. Just an army of alts and a few hours a day of maximizing profit while you play is enough to get the collectors edition in a few weeks
Multi-boxing goes faster and costs 1 month of sub for each account. You start off with starter accounts, first week would be spend on getting enough gold for the latest expansion+game time. From then on you're all set.
Neither is much fun though, working is more efficient.

Probably. You can run your own with companion bots, its not that hard to set- up nor does it require much of a PC either. Though a private server with active staff will usually be better than your own approach. But its good enough.

I know the majority (dumbasses) think multi-boxing are only the druid mass farmers. But this change will affect the ones just having fun with multi/duo-boxing. They had in their rules a means to go after those mass farmers: you ban them for zone disruption but instead they rather just nuke it all together.
It's funny how Multi-boxing was only a problem in vanilla (PvP) and BFA (node sharing) other than that no one gave a peep. With PvP they just disabled it in BG's.
Also if people think this will hurt those botters... think again. They just keep making accounts. I mean, its the same with spamming advertisements and the gold bots from the past.
This will only have an effect on the regular multi-boxers. Aka the ones that didn't bother anyone.
