Nice! I did enjoy both WD1 and WD2 for what they are, a fun sandbox world to goof around. In some ways i liked the first game more for having guns and combat focused on that, in 2 i did enjoy the other ways to deal with enemies like drone and such. Futuristic London looks cool so I'm sure i will have a blast.

The game is surprisingly beautiful at times but the screenshots the game takes are so blurry.

Damn guess the rumors are true
I get like up to 45% boost in FPS on my 3080 switching to DX11
And yes I disabled raytracing in DX12 to make it a fair comparison.
Same shit they did with Battlefield V and DX12.

There are fuckers that call 3 buddies to fight alongside you. You can then start fighting a police officer or some other ape and they help you out.
A mod could probably do a lot in that regard for more fun.
I would like to send more than 1 drone to fight armyapes.

Horrible crap...
Why is Watch Dogs even a series now? I thought the first game bombed hard and no one was asking for a sequel. It should be dead and buried, just like AC series, but no - have to milk these starving sick cows until the bitter end.
There's not even Change Camera view button while driving and no cockpit view either like in previous games, just one fixed angle and that's it. Also, the camera is too close behind the character and you can only change it a bit with FOV slider. Cars drive like bricks with no real physics or suspension and feel very twitchy even when using Xbox One controller. Even the menus look incredibly bland and rushed.
Runs like shit, framerate is extremely unstable. Not sure, but there seems to be a chromatic abberation effect in the game that you can't turn off - all these games that have this stupid effect make my eyes and head hurt after playing an hour or so. The last game I played with that issue was The Outer Worlds, had to go and turn it off in .ini file...
I'm gonna check out AC: Valhalla next with that Ubisoft+ subscription and then I might be done with Ubisoft games for awhile. Valhalla looks like crap also though...

It makes no sense to see the story progression jump from WD2 to WD:L. It's as if Ubisoft decided to skip 3-4 sequels. 
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Game has TERRIBLE cloud autosave bug! It crashes all the time and when it crashes while saving you can lose hours of progress or whole save. And it happened to so many people already.
Luckly I haven't paid for this shit, but lesson learned to never invest time and money in UBI bullshit.

Weird! have not ran into an issue with that yet.

Horrible, buggy mess of a boring shitty game with as much depth as a raytraced puddle.
London looks good tho.
Are we EVER going to get good 'AAA' games again? IS this it? The best we can hope for? In a time where a free mobile game about calling people liars is the most played game right now, has more depth and playability than a fucking AAA game with hundreds of work hours?

There are very big AAA super ape titles that are in the making for years and years from big developers like Witcher 3 and soon Cyberpunk and there was/is GTfuckingA and Red Dead Redemption those are super wild nice titty titles. But ofc thats a rare feast that usually doesnt happen more than once every 1-2 years....
The rest has always shitty elements you gotta live with and ignore.
Didnt have any cloud save bug yet and even when it crashed which it did twice I think it saved after I went to the desktop and the shit was back up later.

LMFAO, this game is my goddamn GOTY of the year so far (mainly coz nothing else was really worth it this year). Few reasons:
1. Ubi be like "Bitches, this shit is so next gen, ya cheap ass 3090 GTfuckallX can't handle it, wait 5 years to play it at 60fps)
2. People bitch and moan about it because either their computer is shit or they knew wd 1 and 2, hated it, and still felt like they want to play this shit even though it's a fucking similar game... wtf.
3. I'm enjoying the fuck out of all the shenanigans within the game. This is the best game to just fuck around in without it being all so serious and uptight about it.

Ackchyually, it's so next gen, ya cheap ass CPUs can't handle it.
GPU usage is often underwhelming. Though imma generally go with just a terrible terrible port. Possibly DRM adding to that CPU bottleneck.
But yea, it's fun, London looks great (characters don't), performance is terrible.
So your usual Ubisoft experience.

I liked W_D and enjoyed W_D2 even more (particurarly because the hacking was improved and really fun, like calling cops/gangs on people).
This just feels unfinished. Not only that, but there are features missing which makes no sense.
Like:
• listening to audiologs on foot, not in a menu.
• listening to the radio on foot, not only in the cars (like seriously, W_D2 had that, and in WD:L every person has a wireless earphone so it didn't even need an animation like in W_D2)
• removal of the phone interface - why? In W_D2 you could have done everything with your phone and it was a lot more immersive than switching through tons of full-screen menus, you are constantly being pulled out of the game into a menu for seeing everything
• the removal of store interiors (you could rob them in W_D and W_D2)
• people no longer report you for crimes, and instead Albion just knows what you're doing through magic I guess (like if you shoot a silenced pistol, 1 hit kill an armored guard, suddenly the whole town knows where you are). They also know which roads you took to get away even though you broke line of sight.
• no cool mass hacks like in W_D and W_D2 (like blackout or massive car hacks). Imagine how could it would have been if you shut down London completely for a couple seconds)
• removal of traffic lights hacks
• removal of hiding in cars during pursuits
• freerunning is severly downgraded when compared to W_D2 - I guess it would have made no sense for all the characters to have that ability, but if you can recruit the whole town at least make it a character trait
• removal of viewing people's text messages (a lot of them were really funny in W_D2)
• actual "funny", but not gameplay essential quirks that people have (W_D:L has only two from what I've seen - spontanous death and flatulence [what's with Ubisoft and farting this year by the wya? AC Valhalla also has a farting mission ]
• NPCs actually using the clothes you buy for them - THEY ALL SWITCH TO THEIR DEFAULT CLOTHES IN CUTSCENES. Customization is pointless if they switch to their default clothes anyway.
• enemies magically knowing that the drone is hacked - even when you're not doing anything! There are news drones flying all over the place, and enemies somehow detect you even if you're just scouting the area?
• the removal of nice QoL features like using a drone from inside a car
and tons more.
The restrictions on picking up weapons is retarded as well. Why can't my Hitman use a silenced pistol, but can use a fucking Desert Eagle and an assault rifle? Anyone can wield a DEDSEC shotgun, SMG and a grenade launcher, but they can't use real ones without starting with one of those weapons.
If it didn't have the "play as anyone" mechanic, it wouldn't have much. It's basically the only thing they added while removing tons. And even the recruitment mechanic is seriously underdeveloped. I really wish they'd let us improve our operatives, maybe train them to increase abilities or change it. I wish the skills had bigger gameplay differences. The current system gets old very fast. What I don't like about it mainly is how it breaks immersion. Within a few minutes you've turned an accountant from Hackney into Mr. Robot and headshotting people like Agent 47. Why not mix it up? Make lethal force available only for certain characters - spies, hitmen, gang members. When you recruit an accountant or an internet streamer they should be limited to non-lethal options as they don't want to kill anyone.
Everything feels unfinished or slapped together. Nothing feels particularly good or great. Shooting mechanics are clunky and inaccurate, driving is delayed and over sensitive at the same time, the story seems basic as can be with awful voice acting (partially due to the amount of characters you can be), the graphics are odd as well.
It's such a marked step down from WD2 that it's honestly shocking.
Really glad I didn't buy it and instead opted for uPlay+ for a month.
