| Quote: | Beginning in the early morning hours of November 2, 2020 some of the Capcom Group networks experienced issues that affected access to certain systems, including email and file servers. The company has confirmed that this was due to unauthorized access carried out by a third party, and that it has halted some operations of its internal networks as of November 2. Capcom expressed its deepest regret for any inconvenience this may cause to its various stakeholders. Further, it stated that at present there is no indication that any customer information was breached. This incident has not affected connections for playing the company's games online or access to its various websites.
Presently, Capcom is consulting with the police as well as other related authorities while both carrying out an investigation and taking measures to restore its systems. The company will continue to offer relevant updates as the facts become clear, via its websites and other means. |
Here is some of the information that was made available to the public through this leak:
*Resident Evil Village details (Current-gen release, April launch, Demo before release) - https://i.imgur.com/p4wWmLS.png
*New multiplayer Resident Evil referred to internally as Project Highway/Village Online. It's a Battle Royale of some sort.
*New Ace Attorney collection for PS4 and Switch (AA1-3 and DGS1-2)
*New project codenamed "GUILLOTINE" for Switch in February, other platforms in May
*Unannounced project "Reiwa" in May, no platforms mentioned
*Monster Hunter Rise on PC releasing October 2021(?). Demos for Switch in January and March
*Monster Hunter Stories 2 on PC. Targeting June 2021 Switch/PC release. Single-player, online co-op and PvP modes. Paid DLC expansions, free post-launch co-op quests, cosmetic MTX, and amiibo support planned. (https://is2.4chan.org/v/1605490026598.png)

*New Shooter Multiplayer game titled "SHIELD" geared towards streamers
*Source Code for DMC2 and Umbrella Chronicles
*Stadia paid Capcom $10 million USD to put RE7 and RE8 on the platform. Sony paid $5 million USD for RE7 VR/timed DLC/demo exclusivity.

Another AA collection again?...Though as much as i love the series, they could make ports of the other ones, or is it that hard?..
And DGS license crap, meeeeh... Waiting for the fan translation of DGS2, as i've already finished the 1st one fan translated
MH is always welcomed.

The reported new AAA collection is for 4/5/6 (Apollo Justice, DD, SoJ) and DGS 1/2.
It's strange though that it's currently speculated to be released only on Switch after the original collection did pretty good numbers when it released on PS4 and PC in 2019.

Welp, atleast it's something to have the last collection for PC (Whenever it comes) and call it a day. We know DGS won't be coming to US/EU

According to the leak above DGS 1/2 is going to be localized for EU/NA.
So yeah, while I still played the fan translation of 1 on my 2DS it will be good to have it fully localized on PC. (finally)
