The achievement list/description is out and apparently that contains some pretty significant plot spoilers. So beware if you are trying to remain in a pure virgin state before playing.

The more I listen to the snippets of the in game OST (not the radio tracks with rap and shit), the more I like how it fits with the game tonally. I like how dirty it sounds with all those eerie haunting soundscapes. Typical synthwave would have missed the mark completely, I was listening to some Perturbator just the day before and it just didn't mesh. It's too... upbeat.

Sarcasm aside, we'll see how this performs. But, by the looks of it, it SHOULD require a quite powerful GPU. And I somehow doubt that a 2060 GTX will be enough to run this excellently @1080p all maxed-out or at least at HIGH / VERY HIGH in 60FPS. |

The magic of "turning off RTX" does the trick and suddenly a mid range GPU from 3-4 years ago is just fine for 1080p.

there is the option of cloud, geforce now will have 2080 for this if they wont upgrade to 30xx til then, also boosteroid

So does GOG only do preloads for their Galaxy client? I assume the standalone version would only be available on release, right? Doesn't seem like it would be practical to encrypt it as a standalone package. Figures that my internet decided now was the ideal time to go all Russian.

I think that was how TW 3 GOG preload worked back in the day. Didn't bother me too much as I've never really minded the galaxy client. |
