Just go to opencritic and read the review summaries. Or better yet, play the fucking game yourelf. If you trust reviews and think a 90+ average score makes the game crap, you're retarded.

The shorter main quest is what annoys me. Just write and design the game you normally write without bothering about players who were never going to finish the game anyway.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Now we'll just have to wait a few weeks/months for peoples rose tinted glasses to wear off and we'll get more objective reviews and opinions. I'll probably wait anyway since i'm not up for a ghetto experience when i've already ordered a 3080

Yeah will probably wait as well there will be tons of patches, dlc and a GOTY edition down the road anyway.
CDPR are not exactly known for delivering bug free optimized games at release.

Tom Petty once said "It's the waiting .....is the hardest part!"

Seems that the three different story arcs are being overlooked when people discuss the length of the game.

Tom's hardware tricked you. The article is designed to make a 30xx card look good.
The graphs are terrible though comparing different settings with different cards in one graph and comparing 30xx with the 2060 and 1060 only.
Just read the text:
"Either way, RTX 3070 and above (which should include RTX 2080 Ti) can break 60 fps with DLSS Quality at 1080p."
But for some reason the 2080 Ti is not tested..
"Midrange hardware from several years back may struggle at times, but a modern $230 GPU like the GTX 1660 Super or $270 RX 5600 XT should be more than sufficient."
The above is probably 1080p low settings, but there should be enough options to tweak to run the game with good quality with a decent gaming rig. And not a single GPU can ultra this game at 4k so don't bother maxing you're settings.

Perhaps, but if your meaning it as in people can start a new game with the new options to get the other Arcs.
They can, but what percentage of players does that to completion?
I am a horrible example of a pool of players to ask that question as I don't do SP games with stories. But of my friends I play games with, some love SP story games, and I cannot think of any times they finished a game, then still had the desire to actually finish it 2-3 more times from scratch for slightly different story arcs.
Sure they would start them, but rarely finish them as the excitement of gameplay grinding wore thinner finishing the first run.
Not saying it doesn't happen and some people don't do exactly that. But I think its the minority, not majority of players.

I see the kindergarden is present too.
Anyway, seems like its worth waiting for an enhanced edition again. By that time some 3080/6800XT should be here too.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

+1, no one cares about branching stories, it's a waiste of resources for the devs imho. It's only there to look good in a review.Imaging a cyberpunk with a more linear campaign that's bug free. Game of the century. Still, with a shorter capaign, you could do a second run and go for a non lethal playthrough with a different story. And while typing this I realise i'm never, ever, ever gonna do that.

If the character class stories are markedly different, then it's not so different than a film trilogy set in the same universe. I for one will do a playthrough on each.

Yep, just like Witcher 3. Crap. |
and they were saying to deliver quality here.
Soo.......... |
CDP gets the biggest fanboy rush for no reason other than they're better than most AAA developers. Every game they've released is always a buggy fucking mess, and still a buggy fucking mess even after all the patching and the DLC.
On top of that, they've only ever done 3 games and IMO, only 2 of them were even worth mentioning.
But you know, fanboys gotta fanboy. And with almost nothing else noteworthy coming out this year, just makes it that much worse.

I'm interested to see the reactions, especially from yuro/azn streamers and journos to the more progressive aspects of the game when compared to the merican and uk woke retards.
Even with all the bugs, fuckups and concessions it will be refreshing to have a developer that will not conform and bend the knee on their overall vision every time an hysterical white man in a dress pops a vessel on twitter
