This game is really good for like 10 minutes when you get to play as Johnny. They got the character, shooting mechanics and the damage output right. And then you return to your character, which is nothing special. Nowhere near as interesting as Geralt.

I really find it hard to enjoy. Started act 2 and thought I would go and explore! Nothing to explore sadly. If you don't follow the minimap POI-s there is nothing to do.
Side quests are just go here eliminate the people here or touch a car and leave area.
Also it is really hard to enjoy it when every 1-2 minute you encounter even if its only just a tiny but a bug. And even the inventory is bugged clicking on the Mods in weapons translates to the wrong page.
Attaching scope to assault rifle creates a visual artifact around the scope.
CDPR was really clever that they could sell this shit to people:
lets assume this was created by bethesda: -Usual bethesda quality, its shit, dont bother with it!
back to CDPR: Give it time, its gonna be good!

what really drives me crazy i cant pick up half the shit, the icon is there but regardles the angel, crouch jump or whatever, i cant pick it up. Im so triggered about this shit.

I like it alot, Codex version as I wasn't sure how my old rig would handle it.
Very smooth on high settings , around 10 hours only a couple of minor graphical bugs.
Very happy sofar.
I5-6500 3.2 cpu, 16 gb ram, GTX 1660 super, ssd drive

Started playing as nomad male V, finished act 1, messed around a bit in act 2, then restarted as streetkid female V, just to see some differences. And got to say, I'm VERY impressed about choices even in the introductory chapter.
Sure, the "origins" are at most 5-10 minutes long and they only offer some dialogue choices so far, but there were some other stuff I'm rather impressed by.  Spoiler: | You can approach the borg mission in a few ways, all offering different outcomes. As male V, I sided with myself, refusing the corpo offer and executing Royce at the start, so it was just the two of us against the borg collective, and I was met with Meredith at the end, cleaning up the mess. As female V I took the cash from the corpo lady, wiped the virus off it and warned the borgs about them, resulting in the corpos attacking the place, and I was fighting alongside the drones, and even Royce helped out in his suit against 2 mechs at the end. Outside I met the guy Meredith was torturing, saying she fucked up, and went into hiding.
The other thing I really liked was how Jackie's death was handled differently. As MV I asked the AI to take him to the ripperdoc, but corpos swept in and took his body. After recovering I got a message from his mom that she left the key to his bike at my door, and that was that.
As FV I asked the AI to stay put, and don't take the body anywhere. So his mom got hold of him, and now I'm starting a whole mission about his funeral and his mom gave me the key to his garage so I can find something to put on his casket. |
Happy to see them not shying away from blocking off whole quests based on seemingly throwaway dialogue choices.

That is literally in game, since I took it with the photo mode. Only adjusted the contrast and DoF a bit. Otherwise, that is exactly how she looks in the game. |
