Oh men, Finally, after 10 hours, I downloaded the yarr... Just 2-3 more to install it.... Neutral

But from some comments already I gather my poor 1070 won't even get the peasantry 30 FPS ? Crying or Very sad The CPU (i5-6600k) is already a bottleneck, dunno if it can even survive the cyber punkness. Sad

if you assume it will take 3h to install it on your computer then don't bother Razz it should take like 5 mins.

in 1080p you are probably "fine".

I got a slightly worse CPU (i5 6500) and I mostly get 40-45 fps and sometimes it dips down to 30 fps min. Got crowd density on medium. It's very playable. Especially that big fights are not happening on busy streets with a high NPC count.

Forgot this wasn't a repack but an iso (the CODEX one) . The repacks usually take me super long time due to no SSD. Mad Just pressed install, let's see how long it will be. Still I expect some 30 mins or so.

What are you on about, 1070 and ultra, what resolution? And probably you're ok with 30fps?

Why do that, our cards can barely keep up 50+ on 1080 and med-high

I've been playing this game for about 10 hours on PC now and I can't help but think the graphics look blurred. I've messed around with every setting and not much helps. DLSS on/off makes a tiny bit of difference. i9 9900k / 2080 / 16gb / Alienware 34" superwide. It could definitely do with a patch of two. Mainly graphically glitches and sound playing when it shouldn't. Also experienced teleporting characters

I know, i've been trying to find a setting to make it more pleasing ( 1070 @ 1080 ), no success.

Have you tried 1440? I haven't tbh and was wondering if the impact is that huge.

I will try this when I get home, looks promising from the pics:

Then I'll report with updates later on.

I get satisfying FPS with the settings im on now, it's the smearing that pisses me off.

Does turning "Cascaded Shadows Resolution" to Medium or Low works for anybody?

I swear, I've seen this everywhere as the "huge fps boost", yet I'm not getting any fps when I turn it down to medium or low?

I'm fine with the ~50 fps that I'm getting but would be nice if it's possible to add a bit more Razz

Hm, kinda weird even changing them from Ultra to Medium didn't do anything for me Laughing

I don't know what is going on with the settings anymore.

I tried it, nothing changed for me FPS wise.

I'm always playing on borderless and even with that added to the .exe I saw nothing different.

-Fair to mention that i'm rocking a 2080Ti, so this maybe something that can help for a older card.

Pretty much after that long sequence

I did ~15hrs of side activities before touching the story and now that I've passed that bit, things are a lot more interesting

Also, many of the surrounding city areas (richer parts) give great FPS, often it's at 120. It's just that starting area that is a drag on the old GPU

I did 9 hours of dicking around, time to get the MQ going next time I play I guess. There are a shitton of options, I like it. I'm still trying to figure some things out Laughing

When can we expect the first patch? Monday?
Or can we even count on releasing at least one or two patches before christmas?

I do think that not releasing any fixes before christmas will be their "downfall".

Is codex release still the latest version? I want to install it just to see how it runs on my new laptop Very Happy Then I'll probably leave it for a few weeks. First impressions here don't bode too well (not performance, but game(play) wise)

Digital Foundry reported that it doesn't reflect by design. Seems odd though.
