I'm so dissapointed that this is an Epic exclusive, it looked interesting. With the game probably releasing in 2021, it's gonna be a long wait if I even decide to try it in 2022.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I have fps drops with this game. It drops to 60 fps. When i switch vsync off to on or off to on my fps is normal again until it drops to 60 fps again. More people with this problem?
meh, so bland, their worst so far. gave up after a while, facial animation is so bad and also voice acting, mind palace is so uninteresting and already done in other games. they should go back to life is strange
DontNod doesn't know how to write a main character well. Either it's a Mary Sue (Max, LiS) or an obnoxious person (Sean, LiS2) with nothing in between.
Twin Mirror clearly isn't the game it was supposed to be. In development by a smaller team within Dontnod - not related to Life Is Strange - since 2016, it was announced in 2018, then later delayed following lukewarm previews in 2019. It also went from a three-episode game to a single game of roughly six to seven hours. I believe the game was heavily cut - you'll notice it sometimes in the way dialogue sounds like it's referring to conversations that should have happened, but didn't, or the way scenes will follow onto each other in a way that makes me think something was supposed to be happening in-between. The many items you can look at in every location often come without voiced dialogue, probably due to budget constraints. As good as the visuals are, they're wasted on an industrial town - a game can look as good as it wants to, it will still seem bland if there's nothing to see. As detailed as the character's faces are, they have next to no facial expressions, mostly just opening and closing their mouths, which is hard to overlook when everything else is so detailed.
I was naively hoping to find a somewhat intriguing detective story in here or at least a small dose of B-mystery, instead I got a hollow, rushed and ultimately cheap member of the Davecageism starring an awkward protagonist with the charisma of an amoeba and characters incapable of displaying any logical reactions whatsoever
Everything gets passively served up to you on a silver platter in a brainless way as per tradition, only the writing is completely devoid of pathos and events just amateurishly line up like in a daytime TV show for housewives. The stiff facial animations coupled with the lighting and textures coming straight from the 360 era definitely don't help either.
After the (surprisingly) interesting and believable L̶i̶f̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶S̶t̶r̶a̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶1 American Teenager Simulator 2015, their games have been one disappointment after another for me - even Vampyr which was supposed to revitalize the action RPG genre ended up being just a slightly above-average hodgepodge of pseudo-recycled designs and rather forgettable characters. This game absolutely takes the cake though, it's such a poor excuse for an "adventure". You're tearing me apart Dontnod/10
