probably they think mph=meters per hour.

I am 100% sure they did this due to heavy pop-in, remember how in all gameplay showcases over the last 3 months they always drove at walking speed?
They probably noticed that above 100 mph the world is just not loading fast enough so they "fixed" it by simply lying about vehicle speed.
Yesterday I managed to jump onto one of those trains, these fuckers move faster than the textures, that's for sure Laughing

I really love this game for the beautifully designed city (from a purely artistical point of view), the characters, story and gfx.
The bugs and all the obvious rushed or missing features are painful as fuck, they had something absolutely fucking special here and they manage to rush it even after 8 years Sad

Distance was coded by a polish dev, speed was coded by 'murican

This game is better than Valhalla any day of the week! Even at its worst it is better than Valhalla at its best.

They still lied, mismarketed, are assholes, whatever you want to tell about them.

But CP2077 loads more fun than Valhalla.

Exactly lol, Valhalla is the same open world Ubi bullshit with the same fckin grind and weak story.

CP2077 even with all its bugs and cut out features is still thousand times better than Valhalla.

+100 Laughing
Im loving it more than the witcher but maybe because i love cyberpunk games more.
Im just at the beginning at act 2 and ive been doing only side quests ( yellow ones ,blue ones if they are in my path).
Im doing main story from time to time , but i love the side quest. Almost every quest is unique .

I got used to the bad AI,cops and npc Laughing dont even bother with police because at 4stars a drone 1 shots you Laughing

...but i gotta be honest, first AC games were nice and im thinking if there will be more Cyberpunk games at some point it will reach the AC stale era Sad

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man. Reaction

Someone played it on RX 590?

From videos i see it's only getting 60fps (and not locked) on low settings.

No way to juice it up to medium? On 1080p..

Guess I'll have to wait for PS5 version.

You can try this - https://github.com/yamashi/PerformanceOverhaulCyberpunk - which may help, depending on your CPU. You might also want to watch the Digital Foundry video about optimised PC settings, which provides some info about what effects are heavier than others. Might give you a few options to try tweaking.

This. That's the shame about this release. Devs are encouraged to make forgetable open world games for the masses cause it's a save bet. Cyberpunk has it issues and it shows that CDR has poor management. But at it's core the game is good. After some fixes it will be considered a classic. I have never played an open world game were I just wanna do all the side quests and have fun doing so instead of feeling obliged to "complete" the map.
This releases kind off reminds me of the shitstorm that was the Old Republic. That game was even more hyped then this. IMHO it was brilliant at release, with poor perfomance and bugs, but good. Great graphics and for the time insane production values, a shit load of story driven content and there was even a little bit of end game. A game for gamers with an AAA budget. But it got canned, cause people for some reason expected it to be as compelling as Wow was after years of post release development. Bioware stopped making real games from this point. They released Mass effect 3 cause it was in production allready, and now they are doing casual open world games and loot shooters. I fear CDR will do the same and their next game will be something smaller and casual.

At it's core it's good? Maybe, but that's a very small core inside a huge lake of shit.

Finished it in 51 hours playing as a corpo. The irrelevancy of the life paths was the biggest disappointment for me. I couldn't finish 4 side quests and a few times had to reload an earlier save because of game breaking bugs. The game crashed only once, but the bugs were ridiculous, I stopped counting after 100. I enjoyed it despite CDPR's broken promises and wasted potential. In hindsight, Gamespot's score of 7 is accurate, even though they gave it for the wrong reasons. I'll probably install Deus Ex with GDMX or Revision mods and play it over the holidays to scratch the itch CP2077 left unsatisfied. I'll give this one another shot when/if they fix it and add more content.

That is a very big core, in fact.

The characters and stories are awesome. Even the side missions are more varied than Ubishit games by a fuckton. The grey missions are the only filler really.

Gig, you mean I think.
I no longer think that the gig missions are filler, they are quite varied, compared to other games.

It's a good game but the amount of bugs and "lame" implementations ruin it.
I would say it's a bit below Vampire Bloodlines (from a bug perspective).

yes. It was ironic when the 1.04 released and how buggy the game was, yet:
Added splash screen for epilepsy warning
Added more music tracks to the censor filter

(Of course, these are like 5 seconds to fix, so probably that's why)

I'd wait for the November patch.
