So it seems that 1.05 is not yet avaiable on Steam/GOG, rumours has it that it will be released on Monday, hopefully not.
What difference would it make if it's Monday or not? This one won't magically fix the problems anyway.
Edit: really like the teleguided-remote hits you get while fist fighting. Not even sure why they implemented the dodge mechanic, because you still get hit
sounds like you're dodging too early, some of the melee attacks have pretty good range so dodging backwards (especially early) doesn't always work as well as you'd think.

Install the gorilla arms modification - it takes the street-brawl quests from stupidly difficulty, to mindlessly easy. With those arms installed, as long as you do a counter, you take NO stamina drain and NO health damage - even on the final fight. Without those arms, even if you do a perfect counter, you still take massive stamina loss and 300+ points of health loss on Hard.
You can always swap them out again later (but honestly, all the arm modifications apart from that one are completely worthless). I ended up just leaving them equipped. They're also great for disabling (and not killing) enemies on certain quests.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Just remember that melee combat is heavily reliant on your body stat. This is not a game where you can really do everything (at least not very well anyway). Level is mostly irrelevant if you are distributing all your points to other attributes.
Yeah I expected that wasn't the case from what I'd heard up to that point, but I bailed because it was clear she was originally a female character that just got the last minute token tranny switch to appease the Twitter crowd.
I did only narrowly avoid surprise buttsecks elsewhere though. That one will definitely be up Ixi's alley.

The hitbox is completely fucked during those street brawlers. The safest way is to dodge twice on the side. If you dodge backwards, your risk getting hit. Most of the time, their punches or combos are locked on you, so you must avoid hitting a wall while dodging. The hand to hand combat is extremely poorly implemented, like a ton of other things in this game.
anyone else find it funny that for the first time in history the PC version got the superior build while the consoles got shitty ports?
They should just cut their loses and make it next gen only on that front.
I'm enjoying the game but my expectations weren't anything crazy, I expected deus ex with a bigger world and that's exactly what I got. Even tho I've been mostly using fast travel due to the wtf driving and terrible minimap (which was probably zoomed in too much cus consoles wouldn't handle more )
I seriously don't know how anyone expected an open world RPG to not have any jank or cut corners. Or where the idea of this game being the equivalent of the second moon landing came from.
imho I'd have expected better world interactivity and the wanted/crime system must obviously be a last minute 2 lines of code duct taped together. This game isn't finished, but what's there is meaty enough for my $0 isodemo.
I'm finding it hard to keep progressing. The story is meh, boring with some laughable stuff:
Panams friend died, and the body is on the floor, she says: What about him? Where is he? ............he is on the floor you fuck.
Next: Takamara guy joins me for an interrogation, i leave the building, he stays inside and calls me: I came up with a plan (for a different job) meet me 5km away to talk about it.
Hey, you are behind this door what are you talking about!
But much of the criticism is actually hysteria. The game is perfectly finishable on a halfway decent PC.
Yes, the world is not alive and the AI is comical oftentimes.
But the strengths, that CP2077 has, no other game has.
Now that I had time to think about it, I definitely think it is a good game, and no amount of reddit reading will change my mind about having a damned fucking good time with it.
Yes, the wanted system is not as good as GTA, so who the fuck gives a fuck? This is not GTA.
You know, what's better? Characters, stories, side missions, atmosphere, shooting, RPG mechanics (though itemization is very bad).
There IS build variety. There IS feeling of progression. And the story and side stories have variety.

+1 I finished it with i5 3570K and a gtx 1070 on 3440x1440. the game is playable on 35-40fps. i hate the setting and the music, still love the game.

I love comments like this. I liked them for games like NMS too (and yes i did see people enjoying the first version of that game). It only means it will most likely get 50% better than what it already is in a year, or 4...
Once I did a hard boss fight but mistakenly killed him by jumping on him and reloaded a save loathing the fact that I'm gonna have to go through the hard battle again. But this time I somehow bugged him floating in the sky unaware of me, so the fight was easy and quick. This is one bug I was thankful for.

I highly doubt you got those frames with that setup.
Why? I have the same graphic card and a fx 3850 32 gig ram the same res. 50 to 60 fps with some dips to 30fps on full. You do know that 1070 has no raytracing main fps killer.
Dont blame other people for your badly optimised pc.
@Radicalus Whoever said GTA's wanted system was good needs to get punched, it's so bad it's hilarious.
is this for real? i'm guessing one of the many hilarious mods / alterations that can be done, just like for RDR2.. if not that's some Truman Show stuff

I too loved the game. I only encountered two missions where I had to go back a couple of saves, due to the missions bugging out.
Also a few objects floating in random places.
I had no game breaking bugs or issues like everyone is carrying on about.
My PC isn't stupidly fast by all means, the game looks beautiful and runs really nice, I averaged between 55-65 fps, high settings, in 2560x1440.
