Gave it a go yesterday after 1.05, but even at the nomad beginning the same stupid bugs still persist (like the sitting on air badguy with his buddy sat on his shoulders... in the middle of the road ).
At this rate I'll just wait until one or two big patches come around, hopefully addressing these smaller but immersion breaking bugs after some of the major ones are dealt with.
Plenty of other stuff to play until then.

no loss, because the game is already in a finished state. you could argue to the contrary - indeed, but what i don't understand is why you would download the game, find a 100% save game, run around there for an hour (obviously there is no content left - it is all complete) and then proceed to say it is dead of course it is dead after a 100% completion
I've never said anything about questing? i guess you are new to open world games, i meant how the game world interaction and AI works, it's very easy to get a good grip of. If you load a save of Gothic 2 you can absolutely get a good grip of how alive or dead that game world feels, you don't need to take a single quest. Same here.
And no, the argument that the game is in a finished state is just retarded. CDPR themselves would not agree Fanboys sure are stupid.

new to open world games.. like cyberpunk? no actually i've been playing it more than 70 hours now. no game is 'finished' - and last i checked gothic 2 was not some amazing bastion of sandbox gameplay either, i finished that and i would certainly not return to it for that. you are judging the game on some metric it just does not feature, perhaps it is not for you in the first place?
cyberpunks world is always going to be 'dead' if the quest content is completed. don't kid yourself - it's not going to become a sandbox any time soon, but you're welcome to continue believing that. obviously i'm the stupid fanboy here, literally telling you CDPR is not going to add jack shit in those aspects.
sure it would be nice, a lot of shit would be nice in the game, but realistically i can't see it after having played the game.
At some point in the game it suddenly becomes piss easy (look at those crits ). And that's with the non-lethal cyberware applied, so all kills are non lethal and headshots don't do additional damage.

i hate the stupid non-lethal mod, it really does trivialize taking people alive.. headshotting people with the 50 cal barret, no problem would be alright if it just affected smart guns to be honest, but it feels so wrong with some of these weapons
i view the absurd damage uptick as CDPRs way of allowing jack-of-all-trades characters to work, rather than forcing players to specialize characters (powergaming kind of thing). or they just haven't toned down the numbers yet
This happened to me as well, I was talking with her on the phone and I was just walking through the Badlands and suddenly she spawned in front of me
She is still there to this date, so hopefully that will not break the side quests that she offers later in the game.
Interesting thing I noticed is that she was still moving, and her eyes were blue when she was receiving the phone call, which means that the NPC's are actually talking to you from their position and it's not just a placeholder which is pretty cool.
riders of the storm quest, we arrived at that shack in the middle of nowhere left the van entered the house and all and...quest was like: "Leave the van." .....................
so i got inside the van, pressed F and char rolled on the ground outside to get out....

The game world can still be quite alive without it being a total sandbox game. We'll see, i do expect at least GTA level, which it isn't right now.
I get really confused by this notion that the game world should behave like GTA. I read that a lot from people critizing the game but... what gave you the idea it would be like GTA? I expected a world kinda like in the Witcher, and this is exactly that. A beautiful game world, stuffed full of nice stories and quests. But Witcher also didn't have reactionary AI with town guards chasing you across the map or other emergent gameplay features some people seemed to expect.
Granted, I also didn't follow development or marketing announcements closely, to have a real spoiler-free start into the game, so I am quite happy with what the game is.
But yeah, to the being overpowered discussion... I just hit act 3, have Intelligence at 20 with most skills there filled out, some Tech and some in Cool, as well as most of my active spells upgraded to legendary. I now just casually stroll into enemy hideouts, breach security in seconds, disabling all turrets and cameras and decreasing enemy resistances, then throw in 1-2 contagions and some Short-circuits and mission done.
I mean, it sure feels good that my 'build' works so well, but I don't even have to pull guns anymore lol. I now equip items just for looks, stats don't matter anymore when I hack enemies through walls heh.
All in all i just accepted what developer delivered today - truly one of the best gaming experiences of all time to date.
There is NOTHING exceptionally great about that game, everything good about it gets muddied and dragged down by bugs and cut or unfinished content.
Yes, the story and a good chunk of the side missions are quality but every powerful moment gets interrupted by characters talking over one another, people walking through closed doors, random things exploding or incoming phone calls that get automatically accepted. Everytime a cigarette gets lit, you can be sure it will hover in the air by itself 30 seconds later.
The city is incredibly detailed but its ultimately just a nice facade. There is nothing to do other than driving to your next objective, which gets old really fast thanks to the shitty driving model and the missing AI for NPC drivers. Buying a better car is pointless and upgrades have, of course, been cut.
The crime system with police spawning right behind you, no matter if you are in an empty closet or standing on a rooftop, may be the worst in any open world game ever.
The combat is broken and just not fun. The AI is incredibly stupid, the perks are pointless and the loot system is, imo, a hot mess and gets tedious really quick.
Even the graphics are so-so a lot of the time. Playing this on a RTX 2080ti, I got decent performance and the game looks great in dim lit interior scenes. Outside, in broad daylight, it's not good, sometimes even ugly.
All in all, I think this is a mediocre game. Like I said, I abandoned it after about 12 hours and have no desire to continue or start fresh until they have at least a few months worth of patches. Unfortunately, even then I don't think this game will ever be outstanding because bugfixing alone won't save it. I can see why other people might enjoy it for what it is, nothing wrong with that. But I just cannot believe that anyone would consider this GOTY or "one of the best gaming experiences of all time".

on the road around the trash hills there was a girl standing in front of her (broken?) car, saw her many times as i passed, couldnt interact but now she is gone...was she part of a quest?

Only because it worked in Witcher 3 doesn't mean it works in a completely different setting, it has to be at least somewhat believable.
It's really not what CDPR promised they raved about how alive the city would be, how amazing their AI/tech is and how many unique NPC's they have and so on and the end result is absolutely nothing like that. They brought this up time and time again and that's exactly where these "unrealistic" expectations come from.
AI is not even close to the level of GTA 3 (and looking at game play vids of GTA 1 and 2 i think even they allrdy beat it at least for driving/traffic,npc ai and crime system) i mean c'mon
I get really confused by this notion that the game world should behave like GTA.
I consider it simplistic enough to be doable in a game like Cyberpunk, it's not exactly the pinnacle of AI.. i am sure it will be improved since they do claim it's "bugged".
Witcher 3 AI so what? AI can't stay on that level indefinitely. Compare Morrowind AI to Oblivion AI, it's a 1000% improvement. I highly doubt even CDPR would argue that Witcher 3 is the gold standard set for all their future AI, stop being apologetic.
You do need a 'site' to tell you what consensus is, because you don't get to decide it choom
I just finished telling you that you can use any site and each will point out the issues plaguing this game, including Steam. I've still yet to hear how I'm in the minority when even your own suggested source agrees with the negative aspects I mentioned

public opinion on the game mostly, mostly the fact (or non-fact) that it is actually positive and not as overwhelmingly negative as you believe. CDPR will fix whatever they want to fix and not what is on your bucket list / public peer pressure.
...and you need to compare it to a game like RDR2 for that? Two different studios, two entirely different games, different sets of issues etc. Pointless.
I also didn't say anything about 'overwhelmingly negative', I said the near universal feeling about the game's issues will pressure them to improve it. Again, using your metric (Steam), even the positive reviews agree. So what are you talking about? Nothing you say makes any sense.
