And you know, what this means? In all honesty?
We will get bugs fixed. The world filled. Itemization and RPG mechanics improved. And fucking awesome stories in DLC with even better characters.
Know how I know that? Because that is what CDPR did last time.
(although TW3 is by all objective accounts a seriously better game, but still)

Hmmm maybe cause its the most hyped game in recent years?
Still a letdown, 2001 gameplay with 2020 graphics.
Farmville had millions of users, must be a great game.

The reason I posted the numbers, if it wasn't apparent from my post is.
The level of absolute hysteria surrounding the game is so high, people (even on this site) are not taking in to account, there are tons of people out there enjoying the hell out of this game. For what it is. Flaws and all.

If you're referring to steamspy numbers, they are innacurate. Even its creator said he's currently using an algorithm to predict sales and it's out of whack.

We can somewhat gouge the sales from the steam CC numbers. It did over 1 million for 4 days straight. That would put the game at around 8 million by that time. I was sure its well over 10 million by now, its been doing half a million daily until now. Consoles arent really a factor regarding this game. Nearly all sales will be on pc alone

If they did 10 million on steam, there should be at least 1-2 millions on GOG. That leaves 1-2 millions for consoles. The 13 million copies sold number is the only official info we have for now, and that includes pre-orders and refunds.

even if cyberpunk aint a bad game it definately underdelivered for what was promised + buggy af
the biggest issue is that cdpr are changing but not for the better.
witcher trailer had better gfx before it was released and now cyberpunk has worse mechanics than promised.
just need to take a lokk at all the game franchises that i loved back in the day like nfs, dragon age, fallout etc. to see where that can lead.

I was wondering why I would hear the same music on the same radio station all the time.
Guess each radio is like 20 minutes long. (Its actually 40 mins but there are only 3-4 songs which repeats)

Question / opinion enquiry: if a game company sells a buggy mess but then fixes it in 1-2 months, is that really objectively worse than just releasing it 1-2 months later? In either case, you get the completed product in 1-2 months, but in the former case you get the choice of playing the buggy product before that.

You are correct about the objectively part.
I would say that after you played the game with the bugs, it will never be the same even when its fully patched.
You already saw the game by that time.
It's like being on the set watching the movie how they shoot the scenes and then watching to movie after x months....
