What will happen with achievements when I load save game from other player? Can I get free achievements with that if somebody done 99% of the game?
It really depends on programming and when an API call happens. Mostly you can get achievements like do x number of hacks, kill x number of enemies when you only do one and the variable increases by one. Or like collect x number of stuff.
But again this really depends on programming, so game specific.
You should be able to avoid achievments unlocks by using a stub library for steam.
I also got a Hwangbo bug, but with a different NPC (from another sidequest). At least he wasn't as prevalent, but he still appeared in my car sometimes and on some parts of the map he kept following me around.
Now that I think of it, he couldn't keep up probably because he was wounded in the quest and was limping (it was a side gig where you find a party gone wrong, you look for a body and it turned out the guy was laying on the floor, looking like a dead body, but he was alive, but barely).
He accompanied me through most of Kerry's quest line though
Title is a bit clickbaity but this is extremely well done:
Mostly great points but he also has some mistakes. f.e. you can actually unlock the perk to wield a gun while having a hostage, so the 20% buff on the human shield makes sense if you have that perk too...

Yeah, the video has some mistakes. For instance you can hack a guy lifting weights (or rather the weights themselves) so they crush him. Granted I've only seen it twice (and successfully did it once), but it's definitely possible.
Edit: Just watched the 46 minutes video before this one and didn’t realise this was on the end lol.
Why people say witcher 3 is open world? It's clearly not
I never treated witcher 3 like open world game. More like kotor or mass effect so these flaws were not apparent there

I think in kotor or mass effect you could travel between planets and the planets were somewhat small/linearish.
W3 you have a big map where you can start from the bottom and travel on foot all the way to the top. I think this makes people call it open world.

My thoughts...
In w3 You don't have a big map. You travel between areas. And in these (large) areas there is not much to explore. Just main points of interest

Wow! I learned something new today: Witcher 3 is NOT an open world game.
Damn, I am sO much sMartEr now!11
Anyway...
Never noticed this detail in RDR2.
Spoiler:
I see where this is coming from.
The idea of having separate huge maps that act like open world themselves (individually) doesn't cancel the gameplay rules of the open world genre. As a whole, it still is open world.

What is a real open world game for you then? With that logic Skyrim and GTA 5 aren't open world as well because you travel to different small areas (dungeons or buildings) during missions.
Witcher 3 is clearly open world... one, if not the, best games in that genre. open world has nothing to do with no loading or no closed areas.. i would classify Gothic 2 and stalker as open world though it is no completely open from the start.
Guess that's true, yeah. Witcher 3 would have still been great if the areas were smaller and more focused, with less ?s all over the map. It's a great game, despite it being 'open world'.
As with CP, W3 didn't really have any open world gameplay/mechanics/events, that you can find in Rockstar games.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
There are a lot of games that use the open world better than TW3 does.
name one u bastard?
Gothic 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the hell, even ELEX. All these games have a better sense of wonder and discovery than TW3. They are dated and flawed in many ways, but they do a better job at creating a compelling open world. I would argue that Fallout: New Vegas has the best open world.
Depends on what people actually think when they say best open world. A lot of people think rockstar has the best ones, probably because of the scope and detail. They think about the technological aspects. While i think they are among the worst because its not designed in a purposefull way that serves the gameplay and the use is mostly dead time going from point a to b.
I think of best open spaces when it has a gameplay meaning and its serves a purpose. Call of Pripyat for example has every point of interest hand crafted and each one has a purpose and meaning for being there and a specific situation tied to them. The traversal between these points of interest is involving and you can get animals, mutants, bandits, rival stalkers, anomalies, blowouts, etc. The entire space in which the game takes place is a character in the game. That game has the best open world in an fps from the way i judge open worlds as quality.
Witcher 3 is just banal and like every other standard game. Pockets of simplistic situations spread into the world and the use of the large space is just to travel large distances, to inflate the game. Theres nothing out of the ordinary there as open world design goes.
Elex absolutely is a top game in this aspect, yeah. Outcast from 99 as well. Smallish but diverse, hand crafted areas where everything in them has meaning and purpose
I enjoyed it for what it was but I give it 6/10. Originally was aiming for 7/10 but the main story is on a level of a fanfic. The world building is shit. If someone thinks it was 8 years in making - just lol. The story was clearly rattled on ASAP. There of course are bits of brilliance but overall a fanfic level, a pnp mediocre campaign.
If you think it's great - I would advise reading a few books.
I think it is great. What books would you recommend?
Currently busy with Death's End by Liu Cixin.
So please tell me what's so great in this story? It's hotchpotch of iconic characters mixed together to make some revenge last wish tale. It hops from one iconic character to another, everybody seems to live atleast 100 years although there is almost no information about how. Even Judy seems to be around 50 or 80 years old according to one quest.
Spoiler:
There is almost no pressure on showing the corpos or their ruthlessness. You can find some shards about their shenanigans but you are never shown. Even when you fuck with them the most they can do is strip you of money and chrome  The secret ending when I ride the Arasaka tower and choose V - I became the legend of NC but not even that because the blue eyed man is not 100% sure of me. There is no repercusion from Arasaka because of some fart news that Delamain tells me. Come on, come on... Even if I would crumble them or Alt they would still fuck me up good, they fuck up goverments but not good ol' V. They fucked up Johnny Silverhand.
The death of Saburo Arasaka would make an internal war in the corpo, should but here it was an afterthought because everybody somehow expected that. It's just dead a deus ex machina so you could kill Adam Smasher. I dunno maybe in DLC there will be that Yorinobu had implanted construct of Saburo who take over him so he could change his frail body - I was expecting that. But no, it's really a dead end. Why even Yorinobu had Relic with Johnny's construct - fuck because. Why even make a copy of Johnny, because plot of this game has to happen.
GREAT FUCKING WRITING. Excellent. Top notch. GOTY story.
It's just - what do we know about CP2020 - Arasaka, Johnny Silverhand, Adam Smasher. Everyone is 200 years old now because that's who people - some know. It's Star Wars last trilogy. And people even don't know Cyberpunk pnp. It was dead anyway, that's why CDPR bought the IP, they saved Pondsmith livehood. The genre itself is least liked one from all the fantasy and scifi genres.
The stories being told is OK so far. A game is much more than its story. Some great games don't have any stories.
The whole package is great for me (as a whole). Some parts not so great (AI, bugs, etc.), story is OK, how it looks is fantastic, game play is much better than I expected (gun fights and those things).
The city they created is astonishing. And they can simply from now on add to it. There are many buildings, dwellings, etc. which they can simply open and add stories to.

The games mentioned above are precisely the ones that I would name as well when it comes to capturing the essence of an open-world structure - intended as a living, breathing space which feels meaningful *and* affects both the core missions/quests and the gameplay experience as a whole. I adored and will always adore Geraldo the Third, but its open world implementation was clearly more focused on a purely artistic and atmospheric direction rather than a mechanically sound and/or rewarding one. Still, it served its purpose nicely as a beautiful and objectively believable background for all the engaging stories and characters that the game could offer, so labeling it as an empty space would be doing it a disservice.
I would also add Subnautica to the list, without forgetting the good ol' timeless Morrowind.
