You have to use a VPN to buy it and you can't have bought something from another countries store before. Other than that, it's fairly easy, you don't need a VPN to play and it seems you can use credit cards from any country. Just don't buy Ubisoft games as they will have to be linked to Uplay which doesn't work when the account is from a different country.

Pro-tip regarding using the forum's PM system: send the same message twice.
It's been worse than ever, and sometimes that 2nd message is delivered right away while the first can get stuck on your outbox for at least two weeks

Well nevermind, you can only buy if the same country, say Argentina, was selected at account creation. Doesn't work otherwise.

I think the country locks after you buy for first time in it. Then if you want to change you have to contact support. Maybe they've changed that.

You select your country at account creation. I just created one selecting Argentina (while also on DewVPN) and bought the game for 10 euros.

How do you actually gift it? Don't even see the option at checkout. Or is that not possible? I am doing this VPN'd in with an account created in Arg but from the website, not the app. Maybe that is the issue.
EDIT: Nope, I guess they haven't figured it out yet
