I'd guess they actually meant 10 working days, i.e. weekdays (assuming they are no longer crunching). That would put it at next Wednesday, which seems far more realistic. You don't release a patch on a Friday, unless you have no other option.

So nothing much of value. Couple of quest fixes and achievements. I never had a single crash in 120 hours so don't know about that. Also no problems with the memory as well or at least not much. Probably won't install it on the yarr for now.

I really hate to say this - being as I am a HUGE FUCKING CDPR FAN STILL. But ... this patch is bullshit.
Not only did it not improve performance, I am now getting many of the bugs I have seen in videos, but never experienced myself (because of good PC). Well, in the 5 minutes I have given this patch I have seen 6-7 very annoying NEW bugs.
Sad. Just sad.

Not to mention that this was one of the biggest patches ever. They told there will be 2 major patches. This is one of them.
But hey, what can we expect anymore if their statement is:
"Our studio is having great time playing the game, we don't have any bugs, it must be that your pc machine is tired so it miscalulates. Keep in mind though we are very serious about our product, and we feel you."

They specifically said in that "apology/seppuku" video thingy, that a smaller patch will be coming in the next week or so before the bigger one that is scheduled for the beginning of February.
But yeah, I looked through the changes and this is a joke of a patch.

Also lets be honest: performance tweaks are the safest stuff to write, you could use those buzzwords in each of your patch since:
(90% of the people won't try to reverse engineer the binary and compare it against anything)
You can always say that I've tinkered here and there a bit, and theoretically its faster.
so yeah.........also they are only focusing on critical stuff:
-Fixed an issue where completing one of the assaults in progress in Santo Domingo would sometimes not contribute towards progression for The Jungle achievement, preventing its completion.

and still haven't recognized a single one that I experienced, but never general fixes like having walking NPCs not float 1 meter above ground level |
to be fair, they probably have a lot more content programmers than engine-level ones, which are probably still trying to make the ps4 do the impossible | That and maybe to appease sony, because of their decision to pull the game from the PSstore and what that might mean for future CDPR releases.

They have admitted it was extremely rushed near release, they need time and in a few patches hopefully they will get near where they wanted it at release.

Huh, guess I was wrong, they really did release it on a Friday. Maybe they tested it to be super duper sure there are no critical bugs. Or maybe they just don't give a shit at this point.
Edit: Judging by this quote from the official forum, apparently the latter.
Quote: | Takemura call. He says nothing and stays on. I can't quick travel, use grenades or save the game now, so the game is unplayable. |
Someone on the Codex said they got the same issue. So yeah, Friday patches, a great idea indeed.

You sure those are new bugs? Multiple quests are bugged like that in 1.06. |
I understand that this happened in the past, yes. But I don't think it's a coincidence that this happened two times in a row (plus some floating NPCs like in pre-1.04) after 1.1 when I wasn't having any bug at all after 1.06 |
So you are not sure? |
I'm not sure in the degree that I'm not a developer or a tester, but in my experience game worked flawlessly on 1.06 and it had a couple serious bugs just after installing 1.1. Could be a coincidence. True that I said STAY ON a little bit alarmed, and I shouldn't have. Decide for yourself.

Well, they fixed the Delamain quests, which were all bugged in my game.
But I completed the game already, and really don't feel like going through it again. The quests have little replayability, IMO. Maybe in a year or so, with whatever DLCs that came out by then.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
