Do not trust the PCWorld reviews.
For example they ranked Antivir at 7th place but it's awful, I installed it just after the initial problems with NIS2006 and in a few hours I get a virus.
And this wasn't the first time... Sad
Fortunately NIS2005 saved my day. Smile

I know what you mean, I just had no other site doing a comparison. I have used NAV for many years and BitDefender for only a few days. I just figured if Norton was going to mess with us I will give something else a try. If I like BitDefender I have no problem paying for it and the $20 a year upgrade fee. I just don't want to get burned by buying something that is lame.

But I don't know which to choose It's to hard !

You are going to have to try a few and see what you like, unless you trust somebody else's opinion and you still don't know if they did any research in the first place.

tryed this? ..

2 Install by using one of the above serials.

3 After installation and restarting the PC you’ll get the activation screen.
Keep going on until you reach activation by phone.

4 Put zeros in all the blocks,
but you have to change the last 3 numbers from the last block to any number betwen 111 and 999.

5 999 will give you 2456 days

this is what this whole post is about, that fact this does not work anymore.

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

Crying or Very sad

I dont get it...till 2005 it was so easy for the groups to make a keygen.
why 2006 doesnt have a keygen?? it seems to work on the same principles (registeration wise) like 2005...

I think symantec has banned all keys that only has zeros and the three last digits 1-9, lets hope that some group can figure out the new pattern. Maybe symantec has made some other kind of stronger protection with this new update?

nope... its bcoz ppls are to lazy to release softwares..thats why.
check the games scene... games are being released everyday (clones...but still releases)

I think that its just nis2006 has a new and harder encryption...thats why.

you are dense, clones take 10 minutes to make. Any joe blow can make clones, it doesn't take more than 1-2 people to make all the clones released in the scene. A good keygen on the other hand can take weeks to make, so you need lots of skilled people to do them, and right now, there isn't that many skilled people.

So, im trying to uninstall My Norton Systemworks 2006, since it expired. it wont let me uninstall it, saying i need to insert the disk. Im doing this from the add/remove programs list. How can I get this to uninstall correctly?

After I get it uninstalled, im going to install the corporate edition.

On symantecs homepage there's a fix for that, I think the link is on one of the previous pages on this topic.
