I hope haptic feedback returns again but in a better/different form compared to the old rumble pads etc. The added immersion of feeling the shots you fire is a good example of where gaming tech should head. More immersion is key. You don't need expensive VR headsets to create immersion. Four small solenoids is all that is needed - two for forward/backward feedback, two for left/right feedback and the software can control each solenoid as needed.

His mad lads videos has always been the most popular videos.. as for politics he's never been that interesting apart from the dog and how he got into trouble with that, very old news now.

Also these people aren't making money that way, they make it through Paetron and by self-insert commercials (Internet Historian's ones are the best Very Happy ). They couldn't care less about being demonitized since there's not any money in it as i've understood it.

I think part of the problem is people want wireless, no? More advanced tech on that front means battery will drain quickly.

Not everyone. I for the life of me cannot see why people prefer wireless mouse. Where you taking it? You need to carry it to the kitchen with you? Or use it across the room from your PC?
Mine never leaves the mouse pad.
Granted I am using a wireless one now, but only because my wired one broke about a year back and didn't get around to replacing it and just used the one I had for my work laptop, and can see the point on a laptop you take places. But Home PC that doesn't move? I myself see no advantage to wireless. Same-same just with batteries to replace to me Very Happy

Yea. MAN I wish they still made force feedback HOTAS/joystick like the old MS..sidewinder? I loved that thing.

Cos i hate cables. I always got lots of stuff on my desk and cables always get caught!
I did however think of perhaps drilling a hole in the desk just for the cables.

Maybe thats why.
I am always super anal about my cables when I setup my PC/build a new one/rearrange things. Everything is in conduit clips as wire guids under my desk with either Velcro cable ties, or zip ties.

There is about 30 of these under my desk I cable tie wires into. Can buy like 50 of them for cheap at hardware store:

Wires are always bothering, no matter how you put them and we have 4 cats... they fucking chew through my last mouse' cable, lol.

Just don't use Bluetooth.

i didn't think the discussion was about mouse, are there mouses with rumble, really? never heard of it, mainly if we talk force feedback its for gamepads, and most people want wireless for that i think. i saw a test and wireless even had better latency (the PS4 one won the test, it was a test on PC.)

For mouse i want cable, i just don't care for charging my fucking mouse lol.. mine can be wireless if i remove the cable, but the cable has been in since i bought it years ago.

OH hell if we are talking about gamepads/controllers. You are only one step away from peasant anyway. Be blessed it vibrates at all. Much less wireless. Laughing

Hardly, that totally depends on the genre, like always when it comes to controllers.

Sounds to me like something a peasant would say Razz
Next thing you know you will be telling you cant see over 30 FPS and 1080i is just as good as 1080p.

Just giving you a hard time. Not a controller person myself. Last time I used one was...super Nintendo I think? Maybe PS1. cant remember which I played last.. but was decades ago.

Don't trigger my nostalgia. Sad

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Yeah. Hint to that clip: in the upper right corner there's a tiny speaker symbol. Click that to get sound. It's hilarious. Laughing
