All Actimemes aside, from what I've played (~three worlds in) this virtual Furry Convention #4 is indeed pretty competent as far as platformers go. The production values are especially high with smooth animations, fancy special effects and a pleasant presentation overall, the controls are responsive, there is a good dose of challenge and the levels themselves are inspired/varied in terms of design and themes. The madmen who care about 100%-ing these types of games will have their work cut out for them
When I tried the Sane Trilogy I wasn't too impressed by it because (understandably) it felt a tad obsolete and static gameplay-wise, but this entry modernizes the formula in a positive way in my opinion without turning it into mundanesauce, which is rare these days. Too bad it's trapped inside the Battlenet malware but that's isn't a problem.. *yarrr*, it's worth an ISOdemo if you like the genre.

Same nostalgia googles wore off pretty fast with the trilogy but i'm genuinely enjoying this one. Might have even bought it if Actiblizz weren't such a bunch of cunts and released it on steam without the always online nonsense.
Apparently, these devs will no longer make proper games but will be condemned to Cow-a-Doody slavery instead for the time being, just like poor Raven Software and all the other talented studios sodomized by Activision over the years. A sad fate
