Oh man, watched it on Youtube, this Champion's Road level looks serious.
I managed to completely finish Mario Galaxy 1+2 a few years ago - without using save states.
They also had some brutal levels at the very end, let's see if they managed to make it even harder

I'm a bit disappointed - visually, Mario World 3D doesn't hold a candle to the Mario Galaxy games. Even though they're much older.

Here we go Very Happy

You know, fuck that level. I made it to the plasma rings on like the fifth try already, then I missed the final warp box and fell off the map
It took dozens more tries to get back and finish this fucking Champions Road level. Laughing

Game is good but not as good as Mario Galaxy. Odyssey seems to run quite well on Yuzu already, might play that one soon. For now I'm done with Jump and Runs Laughing

I told a friend I would if she bought a PS Classic I would stick a bunch of ROMs on it. I got a 128Gb thumb drive, and plan to dump as many complete US region ROMsets on there from mainstream systems - inc PS1, NES, SNES, SMS, Genesis. Not sure what other systems run perfectly well that I should consider adding, maybe MAME? Anyway, I'd like to do that as well as have a nice front end that has scraped images and artwork etc.

Anyone know a good place to start?

I hear CEMU is doing great things again....

Loved it when I used it 2 years ago.

Any link to a straight forward tutorial for a fresh install? Also, name of software that you could use to browse titles and download them directly, forgot....

Many thanks!

I am considering to buy Ryzen 5600x for my new PC rig.

How does it hold up in emulation? And RPCS3.

That my sound out of reality , there is a store I found that selling 3070s and 3080 at decent price, the catch is you will have to wait month or 2 for it to arrive but the store at least preserve the order for you till the stock arrives with the current price you paid.

I am considering to order the 3080 but there is a few phone calls and more checking I need to do before that.

Is 3080 and 5600x great combo for emulation?

It's top-of-the-line gaming performance, emulation or not Razz
RPCS3 states it can use up to 8C (so 5800x), not sure what gains you get from a 6C CPU though Razz

Just finished good old Obscure 1 and Obscure 2 using PCSX2 1.6.0. Obscure 1 was a bit slow in open areas especially towards the end but very playable in the buildings. Very Happy

The PC versions (Steam) doesn't have support for the DualShock 3 controller.
It's a bit hard to play these two games with a keyboard. Sad
