So it seems you can restart membership without retyping password or confirmation code or something on brand new install of Android TV box...

I was on wrong HDMI and clicking things on remote wondering why is that BS not waking up and bam... cell phone message, you been charged 12E, then I switched HDMI and saw it Very Happy

Atleast they refunded me instantly via online chat. Laughing Laughing Laughing

?? just by logging in with a cookie password stored u agree to renew ? Isnt it an automatic sub that u have to cancel ?

No not at all... I have been troubleshooting Chromecast with Google TV with fresh factory reset...

Last time I used netflix 6 months ago maybe...

Apperently Google Account on Android TV OS remembers your netflix accounts and passwords... And then it is just press of a button.

Insane

So imagine kids playing with your tv and paying for stuff without retyping password or some code...

Edit: yep they call it Smart Lock function. Not very smart when obviously the TV shares whole family Very Happy

btw Chromecast with Google TV (sold for 85E here + you need wall powered USB/LAN hub additional 45E) has 1080p lock on Kodi and it seems it also shapes the internet connection for apps outside of Netflix, Amazon Prime... circle... So I am going to return this within 14 days window and get full refund... Already ordered Nvidia Shield Pro.
