Would've probably never come to PC if Epic didn't do some deal for it. Like with Horizon:Zero Dawn, Heavy Rain, Beyond etc. But who knows. Before EGS we still had Nioh, Dark Souls but others like Bloodborne or Demon Souls are still console exclusives and may never be on PC without an emulator.

Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, Detroit were added to Steam DB long before Epic was a thing. ( first listing is from 09.10.18 )
Horizon Zero Dawn's first entry is listed on 29.08.19 as well.
I think you are overestimating Epic's influence on the platform, they just pay for the exclusivity.

Ok, don't get me wrong but posts like this *trigger* me. Why not just pirate that version when it gets cracled? And then buy it on steam when it's released there/wherever?
For less popular games (and I'll include KH there) it might take a while, but for stuff like FF7R or something at the same level, those should be cracled fairly quickly, I'd say that any of the remaining groups would like the cred for cracling those.

I haven't pirated a game in a long time and I don't plan on starting again, it's that simple.
I have no issues with people that are doing it, I just decided to stop a couple of years ago and don't plan to go back to that road. I'm just venting because I'm tired of the Epic exclusives and especially now that one of my favorite childhood franchises is getting the treatment.
