i smell a firesale going on , that 20% drop must be scaring the living daylights out of recent buyers | If I can make it into $200 I will send you the 10. The impact drill is only $180
Beauty of it is, down or up money can be made. It doesn't need to go up to make money. Just going up means zero work to do, down means playing the peaks on the way down.
Example. IF you did this last few days on bitcoin (whats in the pic), each time increases your hold and value:
Spoiler: | | As the market as been going down last week, doesnt mean you cant go up. This below is the last week or so of my bittrex holdings (including the bad trade I did 3 days ago..cant be infallible future teller ). Just because coins drop doesn't mean everyone panics, active people in it like it. Ive made about $400 while it dropped. Its only passive 'hodlers' that freak when it moves down.
Spoiler: | | Not a brag or strutting. Just pointing out you saying "its dropping everyone must be so mad and depressed, and angry at being suckers" means you dont really grasp how trading in general works.
| PickupArtist wrote: | get of ur high horse, NOBODY has a clue what they talking about when it comes to the prices of these shitcoins, nobody including u and me
i see a lot of red and i like this color to say it in wallstreetbet terms |
Nope nobody knows how to read standard indicators, candle patterns, or moving averages...no one. It's all a mystery.
Just because YOU dont understand, or care to understand how it works [which is the same as every liquid tradable commodity, nothing special about their use in crypto]. Doesn't mean your ignorance extends to mean everyone 'must not either'.
(And in wallstreetbets seeing red and liking that color means 'good' [IE best time to buy]..so your not even using or understanding that term right).

@PickupArtist
15th time's a charm?
Pickup is like the guy from air bender with red shoes:
Villager: Yeah, she said I'd be wearing red shoes when I met my true love.
Sokka: Uh-huh, and how many times have you worn those shoes since you got that fortune?
Villager: Every day.
Sokka: [Red with anger and frustration, yelling] Then, of course, it's gonna come true!
The same way peter griffin plays trivial pursuit. Answer President lincoln for EVERY answer. Because one of the cards has that question, and eventually you will get it right.
He hopes it crashes everyday for years saying every dip is the crash, so when it does he can go: SEE I told you I knew!

If you are on Binance and buy leveraged tokens like for example BTCUP or BTCDOWN, you can profit in whichever direction it goes, as long as you do some TA and have good timing. Obviously you shouldn't hold these for too long as they aren't really worth anything and just used for speculation.

@The_Zeel
The way I internalize it is I have made the money I started with back and took it all out by now. If it all drops to $0 I have 'lost' nothing.
Hypothetical example: Say I started with $100, after I make $100 profit I pulled it out so I have already broke even. The very worst that happens is I end up in the same place as if I never did it at all.
For day/intraday trading..I myself go with the motto of: Dont be greedy.
Pick a mark and stick to it. If I plan to sell/buy a dip I pick a % mark that seems in a safe margin and stick to it.
Say I want 5% today and it seems a good day to try to get it. I get my 5% with a sell&buy back and sit on it. Could have made 15% in hindsight looking at the chart after? No biggie I got my 5% I wanted. Any climb after that as gain is just a bonus.
Being greedy to try to milk every % trying to hit the tip and bottom exactly will bite you in the ass.

Worth it to mine 5 whole days a week with a 2060S? Power cost is about 0.12€ kW/hr. I have the 'puter always on to access from my new jobtown and maybe I'm losing some profits?

Ok thanks Sin!
Where to find proper settings for the 2060S? Also, Nicehash is good?

Nicehash is easy and pays out every 4 hours, but they take a cut off everything.
I am mining on eth.nanopool.org, it's min. 0.05eth payout, so it may take a month or 2 until you can payout (it's like 125USD for 0.05ETH right now), but paying out small amounts isn't worth it anyway + they don't take any fees (other than the 1% IIRC for the miner, which is normal).
Using Coinbase as a wallet, the whole thing is extremely easy to set up.
And for the GPU, I've set my 2080S, with afterburner, to -500 Core, +1125 Memory, 53% Power limit for optimal hash rate (the speed you "mine"), and power consumption. GPU is always below 60°, so nothing that would ever damage anything.
